My husband and I have stayed at Yun's Place 3 times now, and they are very accommodating. It's a decent location just off the exit for I-90 through Boston and about a 5 minute drive to the downtown center. It's not the best location if you do not have a car, and want to walk to restaurants and shops. But you can walk to the Charles River path in about 10 minutes and to the Harvard train stop in about 20 - so it is possible. They also have off street parking for you.
Yun and Alan are such nice hosts and their breakfast is great and the coffee is unlimited. They also give you lots of bottled water to take when you go out. We have enjoyed staying there the 3 times we have, and will probably be back for more. The rooms are nice and the bathroom is right down the hall. It has never been crowded as they have only 2 rooms and is in a very quiet neighborhood.
It's a great option if you do not want to spend the much higher rate on a larger chain hotel in downtown Boston - but not so...
