The people that own the place are great and you can tell they work hard. We had a minor issue with hair on the pillow case, but when we informed the front desk they immediately replaced them. The bed was very comfortable. The room we stayed in is in need of a better patch job than it has. All in... More

I read about this on trip advisor when I was driving into Ashville, NC after a long day of driving from the Outer Banks toward Nashville. The review said comfortable bed. No kidding! This was probably the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in besides my own. The place was clean and everything updated. The price was great and as... More

Do not make a reservation at this hotel or use Booking.com. Between the two of them I am out $77.00. My reservation was never confirmed and when I checked the status of my reservation got the message " this room is no longer available, please make another selection". This is after I entered by debit card info of course (... More

For the money, it is what we expected. Clean rooms, recently updated, very comfortable beds. Easy trip to downtown. Was pretty unsure when we first saw it, but even with oddly laid out rooms ( one bed directly under the window AC unit) it was a fine place to stay for a couple of nights.

A vehicle breakdown caused me to stay here because it was close to the garage doing the repairs, and I was stranded. It had been 'newly remodeled' which I think means it had new carpet in the room, as that was all I could see that was new. This place needs serious work and cleaning. It appears to have been... We found Rock Havern Tavern because it was one of the only motels in North Western Ashville. The price was $60 and the room we had was located in the basement. The motel must have been a house converted to a motel. The rooms were very large with a tv, large kitchen fridge, and a couch recliner with 3 queen... More

Travelling through NC on a budget road trip, this seemed to be the only old place left in town. It's a cute old place, maybe from the '40s, a bunch of small 2-3 unit stone cottages. Unfortunately, despite the fact that there was maybe one other car, they stuck me in their worst room, a ground floor unit all the... More
