The main reason for our stay at the Double Tree involved a family member's wedding and the last minute change in accommodations due to traveling with our pet cat. Despite a prior three month reservation with prior notification that we were bringing our cat with us to the supposedly "PET FRIENDLY" Renaissance Asheville Hotel, we were rudely turned away at... I called the front desk several times do to a barking dog in 211 I was in a JR suite in 210. The night shift manager seemed more interested in saving the unattended dogs owner from being thrown out. He didnt care at all that I had to listen to a loud barking dog for 6 hours. We mentioned it... More

Very nice property. Good location, plenty of options for eating nearby, easy to find with ample parking. The room was large and comfortable. Bed was nice and shower was good. The bathroom was event well ventilated and well lit. All was kept nice and clean. Only negative of the room was the HVAC noise but it wasn’t as bad as... More

This hotel sits a block from the entrance to the Biltmore property. It is run by Robert Foster,General Manager, and his amazing team. This hotel recently received a "face lift" and I plan to take another group to visit them in December and again, for the Biltmore Christmas. If you have not done this, I highly recommend it. Not only... More

Our room for a three-day stay in Asheville was in the Vanderbilt Tower at Doubletree Biltmore Village. There is a second entrance to the hotel at the back that gives you direct access to the tower’s elevator entrance. This proved to be convenient for coming and going, as well as the hotel’s breakfast room directly across from the elevator. The... More

Very close to the main gate of the Biltmore Estate. TGIF Restaurant conveniently attached. Good breakfast and very good service. Breakfast area not located very close to front desk...had to hunt it down but the people at the front desk were very friendly.

Nice Hotel in a beautiful area. Good restaurant. Great kickoff point for a trip on the Blue Ridge Parkway. We spent the night here and will do it again in the fall. This hotel is pet friendly and our Dachshund looks forward to his next stay.

This was originally not our first choice when we chose our honeymoon destination, but after our first choice fell through this property certainly caught our eye. I booked our stay the night before we checked in, but based on how the hotel was ready for us, you would think we booked it months in advance. Check-in was fast and thorough.... More

Good location in Biltmore Forest, quiet, clean room, was not a suite, so fewer amenities than many other Doubletrees. Average bathroom. Coffee maker, no refrigerator. A safe choice. Front staff pleasant.

The hotel was clean. The room was clean and the sleep was good. The breakfast was a cold and hot bar and the food was very good. Of course the hot cookie is always a plus. The pool was nice and enjoyed the hot tub. We walked to the Biltmore Village and looked at shops. A little bit of traffic... More
