We stayed for two nights in a 2 room suite and were very pleased. This hotel is one of the few in Asheville who accepts dogs and also has a swimming pool. Our room had a little enclosed patio overlooking a large lawn and swing set. My kids were so enthralled with catching fireflies we never even made it to... more

We stayed here for a Creative Retirement seminar at UNCA. The rate was fab. We had our two small dogs with us and they had a nice young lady at desk arrange for a doggie sitter for a couple of nights. The boys loved her. There is a nice pet run! Room was immaculate. Breakfast pretty good for price! Staff... more

I was very disappointed in my stay at Comfort Inn River Ridge. My mother, daughter and I stayed there for two days during the height of tourist season. We paid $89 dollars a night for the room. First the positive: The property was conveniently located near Asheville attractions, seemed safe, was surrounded by more grass than the average motel, and... more

We've always stayed at Comfort Suites (or Hampton Inn, Fairfield Inn, or Amerisuites). This property (a little hard to find) is much like the Comfort Suites except that the room is a standard hotel room not a larger suite-style room. Same great free breakfasts (scrambled eggs, biscuits, cereal, french toast sticks, bagels, fruit, etc. - no Belgian waffles tough :-(... more

The hotel was in a good, safe location for the price I paid and the staff was great. A few electrical issues involving the lights in my room but overall, it was great! The bathroom was MUCH cleaner than some of the nicer hotels I've stayed in before. more

Very conveniently located for day trips to downtown, Blue Ridge Parkway, Biltmore. Close to interstate but little highway noise. Staff very friendly and professional. Package that included tickets to Biltmore and Chimney Rock represented very good value. Extended our stay because of convenient location. Nice mountain views from the small observation deck at rear of property. Restaurant choices with in... more

The rooms in this hotel were clean and in good condition. A key is required to enter any of the hotel's floors, which gives a feeling of added safetly. The hotel is well located - right off I-40 and I-240 and within minutes of the Blue Ridge parkway and Biltmore Estate. The hot breakfast is very generous. This was the... more
