I booked the entire Inn for a meeting with a large group of attorneys. This Inn could not have been more accommodating. I would absolutely recommend this Inn to any family or couple. Wonderful rooms and great owners. Will not hesitate to stay here the next time we are in Asheville.

Everything about this place is just right, the decor, ambiance, food access to Asheville and surrounding areas. We were on the top floor and felt we had the place to ourselves, we will be back. Owners and staff were welcoming and helpful.

My wife and I are finishing up our weekend and have had a wonderful time. We stayed in the Wright room and enjoyed the private breakfast room. Like any old house, some of the rooms are drafty, however they are kept warm by open air gas fire places. We have stayed in several B&B's and this one ranks near the... More

This is the only B&B I will stay at while visiting Asheville. I have stayed here twice in two different rooms, the Bosse-Bryan and Wilkinson, and both were extremely clean with amazing charm. Bob, his family, and manager provide the best service around. They all have advice on where to go in Asheville and what to do. They also provide... More

We were so impressed with every element of our stay at the Wright Inn. The owners were warm and easy to get along with; the carriage house rooms were comfortable, beautiful and spotlessly clean. The space was just what we had hoped for - it never felt like we were intruding on anyone else's space. We could not have asked... More

I was the resident manager of a historic B&B in downtown Charleston 25 years ago, when the owner(whom I still genuinely revere) had other things to do, and needed someone else to care. My wife(now ex) and I lived on-site, diligently answered the phone, registered reservations, and attended breakfast...so the business prospered. But often the guests wanted to know the... More

My husband, 20-something daughter & I stayed at this property over Christmas and it was such a treat. We stayed in the Wright Suite (with it's own private dining area) and gas lit fireplace, while our daughter stayed upstairs in the charming Bosse-Bryan Room. Our innkeeper, Tom, was a great help with all his suggestions and cooks up killer breakfasts!... More

If you like early American architecture and history you will really enjoy staying here. The woodwork is original exhibiting a refined patina. It has never been painted or refinished. The quality of construction is apparent through out the Inn. Imagine no hand power tools in 1899 making the workmanship even more remarkable. Bob and Tom provide interesting insights into the... This was a great experience, the staff was great at working with me to make this the perfect surprise for my fiancee. I would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a romantic getaway or just a great place to stay. We stayed in the celebration suite and absolutely loved it!

We were greeted by Tom who was extremely helpful in finding a restaurant for dinner and also tips on visiting the Biltmore Estate the next day. Our room was very inviting and comfortable. As well as being immaculate. The way in which the Inn was decorated was impressive and done in good taste. Also Barbara and Tom Gilmore (the owners)... More
