We spent the past weekend at this B&B. I couldn't have been more pleased. We stayed in the Green room, the only room with a private balcony. The house is off the main street which provided a quiet environment. We watched the neighborhood walkers from our balcony. Yet it is less than a mile away (nice walk) from downtown area.... More

My stay at the Wright Inn was pleasant and relaxing. The house is gorgeous and well appointed. The attention to detail by the owners is amazing as are the wonderful breakfasts and hospitality they offer. I was not disappointed in any aspect of my stay there. I stayed in the Powell room which was large and nicely laid out. The... More

My wife found this place and fell in love with the pictures, but the pictures do not do it justice. The Wright Inn is tucked away in a very well kept neighborhood, away from the busy streets. If you want to walk the neighborhood and take in the charm of the old houses and friendly people walking their dogs, or... More

My wife and I and our teens stayed in the Carriage House at this place. It is a separate little house located behind the main property. Best thing about the 1899 Wright Inn is its location. After a long drive, it was really nice to talk a walk into the restaurant district for dinner. Neighborhood is safe and lovely. We... More

We stayed at the 1899 Wright Inn back in early January, arriving on the first day of the "Polar Vortex." Our room was the Wright Suite on the first floor, and it was lovely and quite comfortable. Even though the lows hit -3 degrees, the gas fireplace put out enough heat that we actually had to turn it down in... More

I stayed at the Wright Inn in June. I would highly recommend it to anyone traveling in the Asheville area. Quiet, clean and comfortable. There is much attention to detail which is appreciated to insure an enjoyable stay.

This is a good B&B. The rooms are a great value for the price and the house is near (2-5 miles) dozens of places of interest, not the least of which is the Biltmore Estate. We found the neighborhood to be safe and very quiet the two nights we stayed there. We also got great restaurant recommendations from Tom, who... More

My daughter and I recently travelled to Asheville for a pleasure trip and could not have been happier with the accommodations at the 1899 Wright Inn and Carriage House! From the spectacular gardens to the charming home to the well-appointed and very clean rooms, our stay was top notch from beginning to end. And the breakfast....DELECTABLE! Can't wait to return... The Wright inn is a wonderful place to stay. We were visiting Biltmore and this inn is only 3 miles from there. Bob the owner is quite welcoming and will help with anything you need. The house is just lovely and the breakfast was fantastic. You will not leave there hungry, we didn't eat a meal until dinner. Many restaurants... More

My wife and I stayed here while in Asheville for our honeymoon. The Wright Inn is a charming house with excellent rooms and some nice modern amenities (TVs, A/C). We loved the hearty breakfasts each morning, we only needed to snack in the afternoon they were so filling. Very kind owners. Wonderful location; quiet neighborhood and walking distance (for us)...
