White Gate Inn is located within a short driving distance from downtown Asheville. The gardens surrounding the Inn are lovely and offer a relaxing respite amongst the pond and koi and unusual plantings. However, much of the gardens could stand a thinning out and pruning. Wow. Really, wow. This was an amazing place to spend a few nights. My wife and I, as well as our 2 pups, stayed in the cottage and had a wonderful experience all-around. Best Inn we've ever stayed in on the East Coast. Quiet, quaint and realxing. Grounds are immaculate and breathtaking. Short walk to downtown to shops and restaurants. Loved the dogs! We will be back! more

Wonderful breakfast and evening receptions where we got to know fellow guests and co-owners Ralph and Frank. The location is ideal for walking to downtown Ashville and an easy drive to the Biltmore Estates where we really enjoyed the tours and grounds. more

The Whitegate Inn is a beautiful place. The grounds are amazing. There is a greenhouse on site that holds one of the owners' collection of orchids; over 1000 different types. Hospitable. Close to downtown. I recommend it for sure. more

I love this B&B! My husband and I had the best time at this bed and breakfast. The rooms are absolutely fabulous! Every staff member is attentive and welcoming. The 3 course breakfast in the morning is amazing and definitely delicious. We arrive for our weekend a day early, we called the 800 number asked if we could arrive early.... more

The staff was so pleasant, the weekend so leisurely! The atmosphere created by every aspect of the inn makes the stay amazing and all the other guests at the inn an instant friend. I highly recommend a stay at the White gate Inn! more

We spent four nights at the WhiteGate Inn in the Dorothy Parker room. The room was in the main house and very clean, comfortable and quiet.
