My parents, husband, brother and I stayed here recently for a weekend getaway from Atlanta and Chattanooga. We love Asheville and have visited before, but the Lion and the Rose reallyed wow'ed us with the beautifully decorated house, close proximity to downtown and the owners' hospitality. It really exceeded all expectations! We arrive mid-afternoon Friday and were welcomed by the... More

What a beautiful and comfortable BB! My husband and I drove down in a snow storm for a "child-free" overnight getaway and had an absolutely wonderful stay! Lisa was a great host and we arrived to find a bottle of wine waiting in our room (we were celebrating my husband's 30th birthday). The bed was comfortable and cozy and since... More

My soon to be husband and I spent New Years Eve at The Lion and the Rose. What a beautiful B&B! The Inn is magically decorated with gorgeous details and character you just can't get when you stay at a hotel. It legitimately felt like we were staying in a Disney princess fairytale (The Princess and the Frog in particular).... More

This B&B is tremendous! The house is a stately, older home that is right out of the typical town historical society pages. A big, spacious home with a great parlor with working fireplace for sitting, reading or enjoying a cocktail or a nightcap (we did both). The center hall/foyer also has a working fireplace with a nice sitting area in... More

This was my husband an my our first stay at The Lion and The Rose and we were not disappointed! The room was beautifully decorated, as was the rest of the house, which was tastefully decorated for Christmas. Lisa and Madelyn are wonderful hosts and go out of their way to ensure each guest enjoy the B&B experience. What a... More

I had a great time in Asheville at the Lion and Rose with a few of my sweet friends! It's the perfect place for a girls trip! The room was beautiful and they had an amazing breakfast! The street of homes is beautiful and is very centrally located. Defiantly going back!

Me and some girlfriends had the BEST time staying at The Lion and The Rose B&B! We were welcomed very graciously and stayed in the cleanest, most quaint room! The decor was darling and everything was very well maintained. And breakfast was AMAZING! Carrot Cake Pancakes with Bacon!?! The owner and her daughter were so fun to chat with and... More

I had the absolute loveliest stay at The Lion And The Rose. The room was beautiful and the breakfast was amazing. It had the sweetest decor and made for the perfect, relaxing getaway. It is super close to every part of Asheville you would like to explore and on the CUTEST street of homes! I can't wait to go back!

I just returned from a weekend in Asheville with a college friend and am already missing Marion Hall, our sweet home away from home. It was the perfect home base for our weekend in Asheville. The location was ideal, the room was beautiful, and the breakfasts were fantastic. I would stay here again for sure. We even grabbed a drink... More

My husband and I, along with friends, stayed four nights at The Lion and The Rose. Our hosts Lisa and Madelyn (mother/daughter innkeepers) made us feel at home the moment we walked through the door. Mike and I stayed in the Margaret Grace room which was comfortable and decorated in period furniture. Each morning Lisa prepared and Madelyn served gourmet... More
