Upon arrival we were greeted by LaDonna who was a wealth of information. She wanted to ensure that our stay, not just at her inn but in Asheville, was a memorable one. Our room was plush and comfy, with a fireplace and the warmest bed ever! It had everything we needed for our stay. The food was perhaps the best... More

SERVICE: LaDonna and Chris were great and made us feel very welcomed. They were full of information to make our trip great. FOOD: Breakfast is at 9, and prepared from scratch. One day there were home-made pancakes with lavender syrup, and another day was quiche. The breakfasts also came with a fruit appetizer and home-made bread. In the afternoons, home-made... More

This was our first trip to Asheville and our first time to stay at a B & B. What a wonderful time we had. First we were greeted by Pumpkin Pie, a sweet orange Tabby sunning on the side porch. LaDonna greeted us and chatted with us making us feel right at home. LaDonna is a wealth of information when... More

I have never been to an inn that so thoroughly anticipates everything a guest could need or want. LaDonna and her staff are marvels.Maps and directions at your fingertips; well detailed restaurant and menus; beautiful rooms with plush robes; afternoon cookies; sumptuous breakfasts with great coffee; and a really cute cat!

We stayed here for 2 nights recently in the Wall Street room. Lovely canopy queen bed was so comfortable. All the amenities were well placed and ample. Well done for a house built in 1905. Plenty of towels, face cloths and robes. LaDonna was so helpful before our arrival making dinner and brunch reservations. When we got there she spent... More

Not being one to put things off, I must admit that my wife and I really enjoyed our stay with LaDonna and her associate. We took a road trip to photograph the fall colors along the Blue Ridge Parkway and Chestnut Street Inn was the last stop before going home. The room we had was clean, spacious and quiet. The... More

During our 2 night stay we were able to explore downtown Asheville. It only took a 15 minute walk to reach Market and Lexington Streets. Our room had a 4 poster bed and a gas fireplace. The accommodations were cozy and romantic and included the modern conveniences of wifi and a TV. Coffee was ready at 6am and a sit... More

Excellent place to staff. The house is old as expected, but the room and facilities are kept in excellent shape. Excellent breakfast. LaDonna and the staff could not be more friendly and accommodating. Short four block walk t downtown.
