Booked an anniversary trip to Asheville and chose Chestnut Street Inn due to the location of the site and the look of the Inn itself. When I called, LaDonna, the owner, was very helpful and answered all my questions. When we arrived, we were allowed to check in early and given recommendations for lite lunch. Every recommendation LaDonna made was... More

We were very comfortable at the Chestnut St. Inn. We particularly appreciated the excellent information about Places to eat and things to do. The staff were warm and attentive. We will be back.

Everything was great. The outside of this house is luscious greenery and beautiful art. Great private parking lot for guests. Stayed in the Iron Horse room and enjoyed it thoroughly. Internet worked flawlessly (not always so at B&B's). Didn't get to stay for breakfast but wish we had. Very nice host; not awkward at all. If you are a cat... More

I highly recommend the Chestnut Street Inn to anyone visiting Asheville! My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay so much (and felt so comfortable) that he proposed to me in the garden! He was waiting for the perfect moment and the staff (Chris) kindly agreed to take our pictures outside the day of our departure. Little did she and I... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chestnut Street Inn. We stayed in the Chestnut Hill room which was beautiful and had a very comfy bed. LaDonna was very welcoming and had many suggestions for restaurants and local activities. Downtown Asheville is only a 20min walk and is vibrant and bustling. Very much recommend this B&B.

This was my first stay in a B&B. On the Inn's website there is quite a bit about the gourmet breakfasts. I did not realize that you only get gourmet if you eat the planned breakfast. I was asked about dietary restrictions and the innkeeper was very gracious about mine; however the breakfast I was served was one I could... More

My fiancee and I decided to have 1 very special and romantic evening in Asheville before he deployed two days later to Afghanistan. I called and spoke to the owner Ms. Ladonna and explained how special an evening we were hoping for. Ms. Ladonna went out of her way to help make our evening special. She made dinner reservations for... More

This is a beautiful B&B that is very conveniently located near downtown Asheville's great shops and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and the breakfasts were amazing! LaDonna gave great advice on local restaurants. We stayed in the the Blue Ridge room, which was very spacious and comfortable. We plan to stay here again on our next trip to Asheville!

This was indeed a great experience. We orinally booked for 2 nights, but stayed an extra night. The in is very charming and the hostess, LaDonna is very knowledgeble about the area and area business's. You are within walking distance to town, but do not feel that way. The inn also offered discounts on some area attractions

The pictures do not do the rooms justice and this is the ideal example of what a person should expect out of a Bed and Breakfast Inn. The food was delicious, the rooms comfortable, and everyone was very helpful and nice.
