My husband and I stayed here for a weekend getaway-and it was great! I have never stayed in a BnB before, so I was hesitant-but no worries. It was very well located, about 3 blocks from downtown. It is a lovely time of year to visit that area, and we made the most of it. The house itself is a... more

We had a wonderful stay, the rooms were clean and the decor was beautiful. The walk to Asheville was short , about 5 - 10 blocks from the Central Business District and some terrific restaurants. The only problem was the lack of a working WiFi connection. - Ray & Jackie more

The city of Asheville is well known for its quaint, small town atmosphere. Shops don crafts by local artists and there’s a mosaic of restaurants that reflects a mix of cultures. As a visitor, it’s difficult to appreciate such a town with a unique character while staying in a tasteless room with anonymous surroundings. Enter now the Chestnut Tree Inn.... more

My 83 year young Mother and I spent two nights at the Chestnut Street Inn - what a delightful experience. Lovely room, great breakfast, yummy afternoon snacks, peacefull afternoons on the rocking chairs on the porch and great company. The staff, especially Robin & Joe, were hands on helpful. Hope to return with my husband some day soon. more

This was a lovely place to stay. Much better than a chain hotel. We stayed in the Chestnut Hill Room and were very comfortable. The bed was great (I even pulled back the sheets find out what brand of mattress it was!). The bathroom for this room is quite small, but fine. Breakfasts and afternoon goodies were wonderful. Hosts were... more

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful 6th anniversary at the Chesnut Street Inn. LaDonna was extremely helpful from the moment we got there. She showed us the home, our room, and gave us lovely recommendations on restaurants. Our room was comfortable, and the breakfasts were delicious. We always felt that LaDonna had time to speak with us, and genuinely... more

My husband and I own a small business, and we decided to have our annual meetings in Asheville this year. I found Chestnut Street Inn on the web, and it looked and sounded like what we were looking for. We stayed in the Biltmore room where the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was incredibly spacious. In the mornings... more

From the moment we walked into the Inn, LaDonna was so kind in making sure we felt at home and at ease at the Inn. She carefully showed us around the house, complete with fresh baked brownies and cookies (delicious brownies in the afternoons!!!), and then walked us through a few maps of Asheville and restaurant recommendations to help us... more

This was a great experience with a lot of extras. Every bedroom has their own bathroom and the bedroom is decorated great. Staff is great and helpful and will make reservations and suggestions if you ask. The breakfast is excellent and unique (nothing weird, but just good old fashioned breakfast with a few extras). If you've never been to a... more
