What a great experience! We shared the Celebration Suite for a long weekend with our good friends. Cedar Crest is perfectly situated for day jaunts (DuPont State Park with the waterfalls) and shopping, restaurants downtown, art galleries, bookstores (Malaprops!). We ate way too much, including the delicious breakfasts, and really relaxed here. The staff was attentive but not in your... More

Perched on a "crest", this Victorian mansion, a declared historic landmark, is an ideal place for a relaxing getaway. The house is beautiful, its woodwork made by many of the same artisans who worked on the Biltmore mansion. We stayed in the Eastlake Room (second floor, spacious by b&b inn standards), and we appreciated the daily provision of water in... More

My husband and I came here to celebrate our one year anniversary. A bed and breakfast was a first for both of us. We loved it! The manison is stunning. The atmosphere was very relaxed and peaceful. Service was excellent. We did not want to come home. I can't wait to visit here again!

Just returned from a three night stay at the cottage 2. It was clean and quite. It is very old, as stated. Something about the smell of "antique" is a turn off to me. I admit this was my error not theirs. The bathroom is small and the shower is a claw foot tub with a wrap around curtain that... More

Stayed for four nights in Romeo & Juliet room. Was a nice change from staying in chain hotel. Inn was quiet and it was great to sit on the porch in the evenings. Had it to ourselves. Good breakfast. Cake and cookies a nice treat at end of day. Small bathroom.

We stayed for two days in the Serenity Suite. It was a wonderful and comfortable suite with its own private covered terrace. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were delicious. We enjoyed the privacy that this suite provided and would love to stay there again someday. Our stay included two 2-day passes to the Biltmore Estate.

I have stayed in other B&B but this was beautiful! We were on the main house on the 2nd floor Romeo & Juliet room. Pretty small shower really small but it was ok for us. We were greeted with a warm welcome by Sabrina, check in so easy. The house is well maintained you feel like you stepped back in... More

This is a beautiful Inn. I stayed in the 2nd floor suite in the Carriage House. The rooms were nicely decorated and each room had an in-room air conditioner, though I didn't need to use mine as we had lovely cool, breezy nights and I just opened the windows. The common area downstairs was extremely comfortable and there was a... More

Breakfast was wonderful each day & even included a special treat of soysage for us since we're vegetarians! Juice, coffee, tea, & bottled water were available for breakfast. We enjoyed chamomile tea each evening before bed, too. We did partake in a few of the snacks which were available around the clock in the dining area & were delicious. We... More

My husband and I stayed at Cedar Crest for one night while passing through the area. The house is absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed the complimentary wine and baked goods and had intended to walk to a restaurant to eat. We were enjoying the porch so much that we skipped eating out and just stayed there for the evening. If we... More
