My friends and I recently enjoyed a stay at the Albemarle Inn. The old home is charming with its dark wood accents and inviting veranda overlooking the garden. The location is convenient to the interstate and downtown and is very close to the Grove Park Inn. Parking is easy and convenient. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was... More

Beautiful old home and garden; on the National Register of Historic Places. Great Breakfasts! For lunch and dinner, it's just a short walk to the Grove Park Inn & Golf Course, which offers a fine view of the mountains, especially at sunset.

The property is gorgeous and QUITE. The rooms are comfortable, well appointed and CLEAN. The breakfast is gourmet and DELICIOUS. The staff is accommodating and POLITE. Our hosts, Rosemary and Fabrizio were delightful. They really made us feel like we were guests at their home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Outstanding property. Don't miss this one!! My boyfriend and I made the drive up to Asheville for the first time over a long Fourth of July weekend. I found the Albemarle online - it's the first bed & breakfast we've ever stayed in. I can't say enough good things about it - the staff are wonderful and always working to make your stay better; the rooms... More

For the money you pay to stay at this B&B, it is missing the 5 star experience. We usually choose B&B style accomodations whenever we can but this time we left saying that it was not worth the money. Rooms are a little dusty and dull. The morning breakfast was very disappointing with a mushroom tarte on the first morning... More

This place was amazing! We got married on the front lawn. Albemarle Inn organized everything for us- officiant, photographer, flowers, cake, champagne toast. NO STRESS! The owners and staff went out of their way to help us get ready for our ceremony and plan activities and dinner on our stay. Plus, it's less than a 5 minutes drive from downtown.... More

From the moment we drove up, I knew we had made the perfect choice. My husband and I were celebrating our 21st year Wedding Anniversary this week and I couldn't have made a better choice. What a beautiful property! We arrived and were greeted by Rose Mary who was so welcoming. She introduced us to her husband Fabrizio, who gave... More

This was our second stay at the Albemarle and, after hearing the hotel was under new management, we were a little nervous! Not to worry; it was just as wonderful this time. Both assistant innkeepers we met were lovely and helpful. The room was spotless and charming (we were in Bartok's Retreat), the breakfasts were delicious, and the other guests... More

Thanks to a search on Trip Advisor we found the Albemarle Inn! And what a find it is! Fabrizio and Rosemary are truly great hosts, the staff are lovely and made us feel very welcome. Everyone was so helpful, sorting us out with tickets to Biltmore Estate, how to get to restaurants etc. The nicest part about staying here was... More

Beautiful and meticulously maintained, large porch overlooking lush lawn and gardens. Perfect setting for our rehearsal dinner. Great location. Only a few minutes from downtown where the wedding and reception were held. Owners and staff so accommodating and helpful. The Inn has a great set up with a "guest kitchen" for helping yourself to drinks, coffee, tea, etc. Breakfast menu... More
