Very nice place. Comfy beds, decent breakfast, super bathrooms, good location (especially if you're planning a Biltmore tour). Helpful, friendly owners who live in the house. Cool, shady location. Good place for dog lovers. We'd stay here again.

While the “green” factor weighed heavily in decision to stay here, it turned out to be merely a bonus, as we were very pleased with ALL aspects of our stay. Serene and scenic setting, tucked into a quiet neighborhood with excellent proximity to both downtown and Biltmore. Vicki and Neeraj are very welcoming and gracious hosts, our room was very... More

I just recently started reviewing on trip advisor . I had to review this place which I have been staying in for years now. It is green on all aspects. No perfumes or artificial scents. Mattresses are made of natural dunlop.Sheets and towels are made from organic cotton. The breakfast is always good and I find myself looking forward for... More

The 2 larger upstairs rooms have their own separate window air conditioning units, on top of the B&B's central air. So there is no problem getting all the rooms as cool as you want. More

My wife and I stayed here for two nights while visiting Asheville. I talked with Vicki ahead of time about walking to the Biltmore, and she explained that it is possible. However, she did say that there is a distance once you pass the gate just to get to parking. So, I really appreciated the knowledge passed along ahead of... More

Hi there. Thanks for your comments. I love any review that can help us create a better experience for our future guests. I sure didn't mean to mis-lead about our location in proximity to the Biltmore Estate. But we do overlook it. That forest you mentioned is the edge of the Estate. If you were thinking you'd have a view... More

I've stayed at the Asheville Green Cottage numerous times over the last 5-6 years. I generally try to stay at B & Bs instead of hotels because I like the individuality of the lodgings and the innkeepers, so I've stayed at quite a few over the years, and AGC is one of my favorites. It's a wonderful change of pace... More

The cottage is charming and comfortable. The Zen Garden room was bright and airy. We enjoyed the fact that they use body and eco-friendly products and practices. Vicki and Neeraj were very attentive and friendly. It definite felt like we were welcomed guests in their home. I am so glad we stayed here!

The so-called "Paris of the South" just got a little greener! Asheville Green Cottage is my top choice for a pleasant, clean, cozy & fragrance free stay when visiting the Asheville area & it's proximity to Biltmore Village & estate cannot be beat! Set on a hillside in a lovely neighborhood above the original railway, this historic treasure is home... More

We recently stayed with Vicki and Neeraj on our way to Charleston, S.C., and it was wonderful. The bed was extremely comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and the conversation was a delight. We stayed in the Africa room and it was extremely clean and cozy... Everything was there for a purpose... We stay often at B and Bs and it's... More

Stayed here with my husband for three nights last month. Vicki and Neeraj were such warm & gracious hosts. Really enjoyed our morning visits with Vicki (and loved her tasty cooking, of course!). The energy here was so peaceful and inviting. I just can't recommend this place enough. Oh, and the rates were VERY reasonable. Such a great find.
