My husband and I stopped through Asheville for a night and stayed here. We were in Rose Room #8 and it was perfect. The inn keepers could not have been more hospitable and they made a delicious breakfast. It is perfectly located just a short 5-10 minute drive from downtown. I would definitely stay here again. The price was unbeatable... More

This was our first time using a B&B and it was simply wonderful. Steve, our innkeeper, was so friendly and helpful and such an amazing cook! The fruit parfait with his twist to yogurt was devine, not to mention his red currant cottage pancakes! It was so peaceful and such a joy to be there. The other guests were friendly... More

The purpose for staying in a B & B is always an enriched experience. We certainly had that at Oakland Cottage. Our room was indicative of the classic B & B experience and the Innkeeper, Steve, worked hard to create a very comfortable atmosphere from t he moment we arrived. Oakland Cottage is our first choice when we return to... More

A quaint B&B in a stunning home. Our room (The Rose Room) was the cheapest B&B room I could find in Asheville and it was beautifully presented with an en suite and toile wallpaper - $113 all in including breakfast. We asked for a separate single bed to be set up in the room and it was there on arrival.... More

Trying to find a place to stop for the night on a road trip to Kiawah Island on a Saturday night around busy Asheville was probably not a great idea but we got lucky when our telephone message was returned and innkeeper Steve said he had a last- minute cancellation. The B&B was a bit off the beaten path but... More

We traveled to Asheville with another couple to visit the city, in which we all had a wonderful experience. Our cottage host, Steve Woronoff did a great job advising us on sites to visit and preparing delicious breakfast meals. It's certainly all you could ask for in a B&B setting and would recommend it to anyone.

Steve the host at the B & B was very nice and more than willing to help you with any need you had during your stay. The breakfasts he prepared were wonderful! We had come to Asheville to go to the Biltmore and see the Downton Abbey exhibit. The B & B was close to the Biltmore and Biltmore Village.... More

After reading others reviews I wonder if we stayed at the same place. I was told there wasn't enough breakfast for my daughter who chose to stay with me for one night. I had informed on checking that this was happening and we even joked about not being too loud since his room was right beneath mine. When another couple... More

First, I should say that this was our first experience at a bed and breakfast, so I was a little leery of what the amenities would be compared to a hotel, given that I enjoy the basic amenities of comfort that a hotel offers. From now on, we'll be staying at bed and breakfasts wherever we travel. Period. We absolutely... More

Whether you want the Biltmore, Arboretum, Arts or the many delicious restaurants in the area...this is the place for you. It is centrally located and the inn keepers are friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. The breakfast was yummy and we did everything we wanted from this central location. Remember, the home was built in 1900's' so if you... More
