We spent 2 nights here a couple of weeks ago and were so glad we chose this place. It's a lovely old house with a wonderful front porch. We had the Rose Room #8 on the second floor. The room was small but fine in size for us and had a private bath. The bed was very comfortable. The wifi... More

We stayed at Oakland Cottage for the first time based on the positive reviews and lovely photos that we saw here on Trip Advisor. We booked the large Garden room on the second floor, which is very spacious, has a jetted tub, and a small outdoor balcony with a table and chairs (that my husband loved to sit on and... More

We traveled with another couple to Asheville primarily to go to Biltmore House. We both had rooms on the 2nd floor of this quaint B&B. The property needs some TLC but was adequate for our stay. Richard and Holly were the best hosts we've had staying in B&Bs; they were very friendly and created an atmosphere that encouraged everyone to... More

We absolutely loved our room at the Oakland Cottage B&B. I met up there with a girlfriend and her daughter. The Dogwood Suite was perfect for us because there are two rooms, one with a trundle bed. The only thing is while we were there, there was some rain and the room was extremely humid. We ran the air conditioner... More

The inkeepers Holly & Richard are great hosts. Very friendly & helpful. Breakfasts were great...eggs, bacon, waffles etc. We had to leave there at 6:30 am this morning. Holly made us "breakfast to go". Each couple got a bag of goodies....muffins, hard boiled eggs, coffee, juice etc. My one criticism...the house is a bit on the shabby side. Could be... More

Stayed at this B&B while my daughter went to freshman orientation at UNC Asheville. The hosts were very friendly, the premises were clean and well kept, and the rooms were good sized and well furnished. The B&B is an older quaint house with no real luxuries, but it has a great location only 5 minutes from town and is quiet... More

We felt that this BnB was delightful. Parking off-street; great host/owner; and delicious breakfasts. What could be better? We stayed in Rose Room #7 which was rather small but had its own bathroom and was certainly adequate and reasonably priced. We were very happy staying in this BnB and highly recommend it to you!

It's a lovely guest house set in a very quiet residential road approx 1 mile from downtown Asheville. Byron the owner could not have been more helpful with his knowledge of the town and surrounding area. He could not do enough to help us with all our questions. The room was very comfortable and breakfast served in the main dining... More

Jim called us around 3:00 in the afternoon to let us know that our room was ready and to let us know how to check in after hours. We were at the Biltmore Estate so we weren't ready to check in just yet. When we finally left for the day I called him back and he gave us directions right... More

We spent three days at the Oakland Cottage B&B while visiting Asheville. The house was charming and inviting. We stayed in the Magnolia Suite which was spacious and comfortable. The rooms were very clean and cozy with thoughtful amenities. Innkeepers Richard and Holly were welcoming and very helpful. We were able to purchase Biltmore and trolley tour tickets right there,...
