We camped for a week. Sat and Sun the campground was full..the rest of the week empty..yes, the sites are small but the sound of the water over the rocks, the mornings of cool air, feedings the ducks more than made up for the size of the sites....there isn't much to do there so I wouldn't recommend it for children... more

My husband and I actually did not stay here once we checked in, due to some of the unsavory characters that were camping at some of the other sites. The ad online makes this place out to be tranquil and beautiful. When in reality it’s a dump. The view out to the river is nice yes, but the view looking in, more like looking into a dumpy trailer park. The toilets are Rent A Jon’s and the bathhouse was a run down building that needed far more then cleaning.... more

Our cabin was disgusting because it was so filthy ! Everything in it was rigged, wires looked exposed and unsafe, the fireplace and ac units didn't work,there was one lamp in the entire cabin, not that you can plug anything else in since there were no outlets. Very Deceiving ad on the internet. Sites are right up against each other, the ONE bathroom is not enough for the people they jam into here and there are 'unsavory' looking characters who apparently live here in run-down looking cabins and trailers. Loud traffic and train across river. Shower is disgusting. It would be very easy to make this place... more
