Willow Winds is in a surprising location in Asheville, NC. It is located very near downtown but close enough to many other attractions. We wanted to go white water rafting and visit Chimney Rock Park and these activities were within 45 minutes of the cabin. When we arrived at Willow Winds, the staff gave us directions to places we wanted... more

This was our first trip to the Asheville area and I booked at Willow Winds based on TripAdvisor reviews. We were not disappointed. The setting was perfect, the cabins private, clean, and nicely decorated. Our "Ruby's Dogwood" cabin overlooked the stream and trout pond. It upper level deck had rocking chairs, a table and chairs for dining and an electric... more

I can't say enough about how relaxing and beautiful Willow Winds is The staff were very accomadating and exceptionally nice and helpful. We went for my 50th birthday. Willow Winds is so convienient to everything, but yet also so very private. We stayed in Chris's Cabin. I could open our bedroom window at night and listen to the relaxing fountain... more

Willow Winds was the perfect spot for our honeymoon! We found our cabin and quiet mountain surroundings very romantic!! It was so peaceful there and the decks were very private. We loved being able to go out of our bottom floor suite right onto the deck with a hot tub. The cabin was absolutely spotless, simply and beautifully decorated. The... more

These "cabins" well exceeded our expectations. We used the hot tub (which was perfectly maintained and regularly serviced) twice per day. We hiked the nearby, well marked paths in the mountains. We read books next to the trout pond and fountain ponds. We just preferred to stay at the cabin rather than go into town because it was so peaceful... more

My husband and I took a chance on renting a cabin from Willow Winds. Having never experienced cabin rentals before, we were somewhat skeptical. It was a pleasant surprise to arrive at "Andrew's Attic" after experiencing extreme weather in our South Florida Neighborhood. ( A tree landed in our home thanks to Hurricane Katrina) What a wonderful time we had... more

I have to agree with everyone else who has reviewed Willow Winds - it's the perfect place to stay when vacationing in Asheville and the surrounding area. The cabins are very clean (and I'm ultra-picky about cleanliness!), the location is great (you feel like you're a million miles away from town, but you're only about 5 minutes away from great... more
