I have to start by saying this is my first review as I have never felt the urge to write one(also submitted to Hotels.com). This is undoubtedly the most restful and pampered hotel stay my wife and I have experienced. The staff were all very attentive to any needs that we had.Breakfast was excellent as well as the afternoon wine... More

My husband and I stayed at The Princess Anne on a recent fun getaway to Asheville to try the local microbreweries in town. Staff was so nice and very helpful. The hotel had so much character and charm...it makes you wonder who wandered the halls of this historic place many years ago. The breakfasts that are served each morning were... More

I'm so glad we could be a part of your tour of Beer City USA! I hope you got to visit my favorite local beer and pub, the Wedge Brewery. And since beer was your priority for this visit, the walk to town is a nice one. As you say, a return cab is only about $5 and you would... More

A wonderful, warm environment in an historic B&B. Located close to downtown, this hotel is clean and bright with incredibly helpful, professional staff. We had a deluxe suite which was a great value. Our only regret was that we were only staying one night. We will definitely return!

We love this place. Have stayed many times. Great staff. Not a typical B and B. This is more like a Boutique hotel. Large rooms, clean, kitchenette area, tv. Afternoon apps... More of an adult place. Kids would be bored. Although that is what we like about it as well.

It's true... we are no Disney Resort. However, I did overhear a young man just yesterday saying, "I'm having so much fun!" (true story) While we do tend to cater to couples, there is also accommodation for young families as well. Also, in the very near future we will be opening additional accommodations that are much more suited to larger... More

We found the Princess Anne Hotel to be relaxing and romantic, with superior amenities and helpful staff. From the gourmet, made-to-order breakfasts and the wine and hors d'oeuvres receptions each afternoon, we enjoyed very high quality food and drink included with our room rate. Staff were attentive and friendly, helpful yet not bothersome. The hotel has been restored and is... More

A travel center agent along the Blue Ridge Parkway suggested that we stay at the Princess Anne Hotel in Ashevile. What a blessing! The hotel, built in 1910 and listed d on the National Historic Registry, has 16 suites. Reasonable rates include taxes, and an afternoon wine tasting that runs from 4:30 until 6:00. The rate also includes a wonderful... More

Although the hotel was built in 1924, restoration concluded in 2005 and included service upgrades including mimosas served on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Not a bad way to start of the day! And I'm glad you got to savor some of Asheville's local flavor by taking part in one of the city's Friday night drum circles. Next time, we hope... More

A very cool historic Inn with a friendly staff...... the best in-room hotel coffee you ever had anywhere! Guaranteed. Family run and feels like San Francisco small hotels or even mid sized European hotels.... afternoon appetizers are also worth coming back early for..

Our coffee is locally roasted and ground by Beanwerks. I will past your compliment along to them. And I feel the exact same about the size and feel of the hotel. I always describe it as European style. From the lift to the sinks in the bedrooms, take a journey back in time or over seas! We can't wait to... More

My wife, (adult) daughter and I stayed with extended family for a wedding. Many (most?) rooms are suites; we had a three-room suite so our daughter stayed with us. The public rooms and outside porches are very comfortable, so the whole family could get together. The staff went "above and beyond" to see that all our needs were met. If... More
