Not enough glowing words can describe our 4 day stay at this awesome hotel. From call to reserve room to check out, one is made to feel as tho a part of the family. No detail or request seems to be to small or to big. You really can see why a need to reserve a room well in advance... More

Arrived late afternoon to a most delectable, complimentary, daily hors d'oeuvre and wine offering. Spent the first night (of two) walking to downtown restaurants/bars since it was only a mile from central downtown. Fantastic breakfast; super-friendly and helpful hostess (Jenny?)/staff; tranquil garden/pond out back; historic rooms with full modern amenities: all set in a leafy, quirky suburban setting. We had... More

I can't decide what I liked most about this place: location in quiet, leafy suburb yet walking distance from restaurants, the way the colour of the trees matched the soft green of the wooden building, the two rooms you get (dining and kitchen as well as bedroom) the fact they offer 6 different wines and hors d'oeuvres in the evening;... My wife and I just completed a three night stay at the Princess Ann Hotel in Ashville. It was one of our most memorable stays ever. We travel frequently and in stay in all types of accommodations, large and small hotels, b and b’s , inns etc. The Princess Anne blends all the positive attributes of these different types of... This is my second stay at this hotel. My room for one person was very spacious; and the wine & nibbles in the afternoon hit the spot after the drive, and then a day of work. The breakfast choices are special: offering French toast or quiche, pancakes or a wonderful breakfast sandwich. If you choose to do so, which I... More

As a surprise local getaway, my husband treated us to a day and night stay at this historic beautiful Inn. A throw back to true service and exquisite accommodations... This B&B is amazing. It is worth the price to enjoy the experience of a place that is done the way things should be. The service was unprecedented in our many... More

This charming hotel had the best reviews and comments of any in we found, so look no further. It is in a quiet residential neighborhood a 15 minute walk to the center of Ashville, though you need walking shoes as the walkways are some times brick lined. Be here between 4 and 6 PM and you will be surprised at... More

My husband and I took a last-minute weekend trip to Asheville. Booked at the Princess Anne when some of the other hotels and inns we knew of were unavailable. What a find! Not only is the hotel quaint, with small suites and a big, comfortable back porch on which to enjoy the nightly wine and munchies - but the staff... More

As an Architect and a Designer, both with Preservationist intersts, my wife and I always look for historic properties when we travel. I had business in downtown Asheville and was pleased to find such a lovely, and lovingly restored historic hotel so near my destination. I stayed on the corner of the second floor so I had windows on two... More
