Super location as my husband and I were able to walk downtown,to a few restaurants and take great walks in the early a.m. We had a suite on the third floor which was spacious, clean and quiet. All the staff was efficient, knowledgeable and helpful. The breakfasts are wonderful offering 3 choices which change daily (you can always opt for... More

We stayed two nights at this lovely 1924 hotel on the National Register of Historical Places. Not only is an excellent breakfast included in the rate but so is afternoon wine and hors d'oeuvres--both good. There are extensive common spaces, indoors and out. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Our suite was comfortable. Would definitely return.

Lovely historic hotel in a quiet location on the outskirts of Asheville, NC. Our suite was exceptionally clean and spacious with a small kitchen, sitting room, bedroom and bathroom. The Happy Hour in the afternoon was the best we have come across with lovely nibbles and a variety of wines, providing a chance to sit and chat to other guests... More

The Princess Anne is a marvelous excursion back to the era of genteel lodging, with charming rocker-filled porches, garden patios, high Victorian parlors, and sun-flooded dining room. The living quarters are comfortably spacious and well-provisioned. The TV lineup was surprisingly extensive, offering a broad choice of quality programs. The breakfasts (we had two) were simply fabulous. The afternoon gathering offered... More

The Princess Anne has been restored to an excellent state, balancing its original architecture and design perfectly with an appropriate style for a stately 100 year old frame building. The common rooms are spacious, light-filled, and tastefully decorated. Guest rooms (suites) are comfortable, well equipped and appointed, and modernized without ruining the original feel of the building. The staff is... More

Our one-night stay in this charming, 11-room hotel was one of the best travel experiences we've ever had. From the moment we checked in, we were blown away by the impeccable and friendly service, extras like wine (two types of red, two types of white - all French and delicous) and delicacies in the evening, a full, delicious made to... My wife and I stayed overnight here on way to FL. Cozy and very clean place. Our room was Master Suite. Perfect very large room for family to stay at...3 seperate rooms. Afternoon wine and breakfast wonderful touch to this hotel/B&B. It is a short 2 block walk to Starbucks for those early risers. Only downsides to this place are... More

Our third or fourth stay in the last three five years. Always clean, friendly, helpful. Most of all, guests can choose their level of interaction with other guests, at both the highly coveted "wine hour" and the yummy morning breakfast--retreat to a cozy corner of the large historic parlor rooms, or chat easily with others--no pressures. Good parking, and easy... More

My girlfriend and I stayed in the Superior Suite for 1 night. It was actually a bit nicer than pictured on their website. We got there late in the afternoon after hiking the blue ridge and met the lady at the front desk. She was super nice and got us setup really quickly. The entryway and foray is beautiful to... More

Very nice Hotel. Very well kept and clean. The staff and personel were the crown jewel of the stay! Extremely pleasant and always went the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable. Perfect blend of a Hotel and Bed n Breakfast.
