This was our 4th stay here over the past 10+ years. The pros are that the rooms and public areas have been maintained. If you are on the breakfast program the buffet is very good. Wifi is excellent. Rooms clean. The down is the service. At check in they could not find my room. A second Rep came out and... more

My mom and I decided to add an additional night to our weekend trip to Asheville, so we booked one night at this hotel on hotwire.com. It was a great deal for the price, which was around $65. The resort was difficult to find, so don't be surprised if you get a bit lost. I was expecting this after reading... more

Stayed here for 2 nights in April 2009. Never had been to Asheville, this hotel is right off of 240, about 5 minutes from Downtown Asheville. Hotel was clean, good shower pressure, comfortable beds. Walls a bit thin, so know that going in. We had the breakfast buffet, which was adequate, if not a bit pricey(like $11pp.) We booked online... more

We stayed here for one night through Priceline for $45.00. The hotel was nothing special. The lobby was very nice and check in was fast/friendly once we were waited on, as there were at least 8 people waiting to be checked in and only one person working the desk. The rooms were very clean, although they were a bit small... more

We got lost trying to find the place. The hotel's sign on the highway said to take Exit 3A, but 3B is the correct one. So we wound up in downtown Asheville, called the hotel and were given the correct directions. Front desk had one woman checking people in--very slow and no information given about the hotel facilities on check-in.... more

I booked a room for two nights this past weekend at the Crowne Plaza and had a wonderful experience. I was weary before I left because I read all of the negative reviews, but can say it was a wonderful experience. The rooms were extremely clean and the staff was incredibly nice. They were doing some construction outside, but I... more

I received a good rate for this room. HOwever, that rate was not worth all the hassle that we went through while we were there. I understand that some noise in enevitable, however what we experienced the two nights that we were there was unacceptable. The first night was just noisy from when the bar closed and people were going... more

First, the good things about this hotel: 1) The beds are supremely comfortable, and Crowne Plaza's "sleep kit" is a nice touch. It includes aromatherapy spray, ear plugs, eye shade, and a relaxation CD. The beds are very nice too, and I slept far better than I do in most hotels. 2) The rooms are quite large. And that's it... more

Much better than some of the reviews. Sure there was construction on the grounds, but that did not affect our stay what-so-ever. The room was very clean and totally updated. Yes, the bathroom's are small, but really wasn't a problem. Two people can not get ready at the same time and that was a small drawback. The walls are "thinner"... more
