Hosts Bill and Emily were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were delicious and I particularly enjoyed Bill's coffee! The location is perfect - just a 10 minute walk into a Downtown Asheville. I stayed three nights in the Carolyn Grey room. The room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Having a spa bath was a particular treat! I would... More

We came to town not knowing where we would stay. We stumbled across this wonderful bed-and-breakfast just outside of downtown. It was only half a mile walk to the downtown restaurants, shops and attractions. The couple that runs the place are outstanding. Very, very friendly and welcoming. Our room was perfect for the 2 of us. We had our own... More

We stayed at A Bed of Roses in July while visiting Asheville. My husband and I are thinking of retiring to the region and wanted to stay somewhere where we had easy access to Asheville and the downtown area. This place was just perfect. The house is so charming and clean! We had a room on the first floor that... More

We had a one night getaway and found A Bed of Roses. The room was on the first floor and was still super quiet. The owners were super helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delightful and delicious. We enjoyed exploring the town of Asheville. Would definitely return.

This was our first experience at a Bed and Breakfast and it was more than we could have hoped for! We visited Asheville for our 1 year anniversary/engagement and A Bed of Roses helped make this trip even more memorable. Emily and Bill were exceptional hosts! They had suggestions on where to go, what to eat, and any general information... More

This was our first B&B experience and it definitely won't be our last! We stayed in the Oliver Davis room. It was clean, quiet and cozy. The temperature in our room was very comfortable. The inn has central air, but we also had a window unit to adjust to our liking. The inn was full and we didn't hear the... More

We just returned from a last-minute trip to Asheville and were thrilled to find a room at A Bed of Roses. The inn was beautiful, and much closer to downtown than other B&Bs we've stayed at in Asheville. It was definitely walking distance to many of our favorite Asheville spots. We stayed in the Carolyn Gray room and found it... More

This was our first B&B experience and what a treat it was! The home was beautiful - we got up a little before the FANTASTIC breakfast was served each day and enjoyed a cup of coffee in the parlor. Relaxing music surrounding us - a great way to start the day. The location is very convenient, just a short walk... More

My husband and I love staying at B and Bs. Emily and Bill's place in a lovely historic part of Asheville (full of Victorians and Arts and Crafts homes) ranks up with the best of the best! We were treated like honored guests. The home is beautifully furnished in the Queen Anne period, but oh the modern conveniences, like excellent... More
