Some years ago, my husband and I stayed here for a night and planned to visit the Biltmore Estate the next day. Our one-bedroom cabin was so cute and cozy, and we loved it. Had always wanted to return, so booked two nights in the "Double or Nothing" two-bedroom cabin with a kitchen a few days before Christmas. Everyone fell... More

Have stayed here several times. Cabins are clean, comfortable and rustic. The staff are super and friendly. Thumbs up for loving the pets. New fenced in area for dogs is a big bonus. Definitely will stay here again!

We stayed in #12 for four night and loved our stay! Small but cozy - perfect for a couple. We cooked daily in our kitchen which was stocked with all the basic necessities and made a fire in the fireplace. The location is convenient to downtown Asheville and the highways but isn't really scenic itself. The cabins were clean and... More

I have stayed here before and this is our third time. We Like it because it's comfortable and clean. They also allow pets. They even have a very large fenced in pet area that you can let your Dog in. No need to worry about cleanup because they have Poo bags and a Poo disposal can.

We just loved our little cabin! So quaint and rustically decorated and the whole place was dog-friendly including a new fenced dog run area! Our cabin was small but that is what we expected and there were other cabins of larger sizes to choose from if desired. Wonderful front porch to sit if the weather permits. Housekeeping staff very friendly... More

This place exists in a time warp. It feels like the 1920s all over again and I loved it. Included in the small cabin (I was in #10) was a tiny kitchen and an equally tiny bathroom. The rooms were far from luxury (see photo of shower), but everything functioned properly and it was comfortable. Unfortunately it rained and I... More

We saw this location in a Country Living magazine. It is a unique and historical place. It isn't fancy and doesn't represent itself as such. Our cabin, #4 has a kitchen, deck, and fenced in yard with a picnic table. It was the perfect place for my husband, dog, and myself. My husband insists that the stay here, was the... More

The cabin we used had everything as advertised. The problem was that I never felt clean. It was so small, even though we had a cabin with a kitchen, that our suit cases were all over the floor. Bedding is not changed during your stay, and you must request clean towels daily. Most times we went to the office, it... More

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. Excellent off the beaten path getaway. Staff so friendly and helpful and very accommodating. I hope to come back in the future. I recommend this little hideaway to anyone. Still has the comforts of home with wifi and cable but yet still home away from home.

I may have had a hundred questions and every one was answered. Oh yes, and I'm traveling w 2 dogs, very sweet, but often improperly labeled ... no problem. Pet friendly to the hilt. Love it. Kinda thinking I should come back for Christmas. It's a cool place, vintage for sure. You do need to keep this in mind -... More
