I picked the place primarily because it was pet friendly and in my budget. It surpassed my expectations: very clean, friendly, great water pressure, great dog area, and extremely quaint. The beds are comfortable. There is no maid service but it is not a necessity for me. Cute Bavarian restaurant at the entrance. I would definitely return.

We have stayed at the cabins several times. Our daughter lives in Asheville and it is convenient to her. We still get the rustic feel of a cabin but can drive downtown in 10 min. They are very small but charming, also clean and cheerful. Most of them have fire places which we always utilize. They are also pet friendly.... More

I loved the cute, quaint cabins. The art on the walls matched the theme of the cabin and the cabin was just enough room for my boyfriend and I to kick back and watch TV after hanging out in Asheville all day. It is conveniently located very close to downtown (about a 5 minute drive). The cabin was incredibly clean... More

We had the nicest time here. Susie was the perfect relaxed greeter, and the cabin was clean and stocked with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and it was easy to control the heat. Water pressure in the shower was very nice. It's rustic for sure, these cabins have served some time, but comfy and cozy. Asheville and Weaverville... More

Very rustic - with just enough amenities! Our son picked this out as a lovely historic place for us to meet his fiancee in July 2014. The weather was a wonderful change for us Floridians and we turned on the window AC in the larger of the 2 bedrooms just at night. I would have loved to have been able... More

My wife, dog and I had a great experience at the 1930s Log Cabin Motor Court. It's in a quiet location just 5 to 10 minutes North of Downtown Asheville and maybe 20 minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Susie helped me greatly over the phone. We had Kozy Kabin #2 which was closest to the road but still quiet.... More

I had high hopes of this 1930s style log motor court, and it looked good: fairy tale log cottages set in the trees. But, my dears, the smell of gas! There was a stone fireplace for a log fire, a small kitchen, rudimentary but serviceable, two large beds, a shower . . . but the central heating unit in the... More

This is not a five star resort but it is 6 miles from downtown Asheville. There is also a Bavarian restaurant at just a few minutes walk from any cabin your rent. These cabins are very modest and rustic but the people are awesome, you can bring your dog, and it is a lot of fun. Not for those that... More

The cabin is just like me. Old and rustic. Perfect in all ways that matter. A journey back in time that just can't be found at your motels made of ticky tacky that all look just the same. Made me want to jump in a 50's ford and head down the highway. Only complaint was my own damn fault. Low... More

For the money, should have been nicer. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Cabin had everything indicated on website and in working order. Place was very clean and some small attempts at art work were charming. However, the cabin we stayed in has been upgraded through the years but with poor craftsmanship. While it is difficult to upgrade an... More

Dear 92balance96, The Log Cabin Motor Court (aka The Asheville Cabins) is an unique, historical treasure. Built in 1930 these cabins attract loyal customers season after season, year after year, generation after generation. You wrote that “For the money, should have been nicer.” Based on many years of guest reviews (and market research), the Log Cabin Motor Court is arguably... More
