We had a wonderful time at Hill House. The house is beautiful, and Carey did a fantastic job making us feel right at home. The breakfast was top-notch; Chef Luke worked with our weird food allergies and preferences to come up with a delicious meal. We would definitely stay there again! We stayed in "The Hideaway" which was in a... More

My mom and I went to visit Asheville and stayed here for 3 nights,--we stayed in the Arcade room, it was absolutely adorable, very French countryside chic, and we both loved the old style bathtub and the decor. The bed was quite comfortable as well! The breakfasts were absolutely delicious and a big plus were the teas and snacks (walnuts... More

We spent the past weekend at the Hill House B&B and we had a great time. We arrived at about 8pm and they were extremely friendly and courteous and were willing to work with us for our later arrival. We stayed in the Biltmore room which is probably one of their nicest rooms. It has a 2-person jacuzzi tub which... More

One of the best bed & breakfasts my husband and I have stayed in. The breakfasts were awesome and we lasted all day without eating until dinner. Beautiful, charming home that was so welcoming! Nothing was too much to ask! We felt the location was perfect for our sightseeing adventures. Just wish I could have Luke make breakfast for us... More

The Hill House B&B was the most pleasent experience I've ever had while on vacation. My girlfriend and I spent 2 days/3 nights, and brought our dog Hunter (25lb beagle mix). Not only were we welcomed with wine/cheese, but our hotel manager, Carey, personally brought us to our rooms. We even got to park our car away from the street,... More

A lovely inn, we had one of the last rooms a suite. It was a bit old in feeling but quite charming and comfortable. Breakfast was very good, a croissant with fresh fruit and cream....warmed and homemade. Lovely guests which made it seem more special..

The breakfast was very good and we found the staff to be pleasant and accomodating. We agree with other reviewers that the cleanliness definitely needs improvement, especially in comparison to other Bed and Breakfast inns we have visited throughout the United States.

Most other reviews that speak to cleanliness at Hill House are favorable. As this guest is anonymous, non-specific in his/her comments, and did not address his/her concerns to us personally, as we request of all guests, I'm unable to comment. If he or she really did think that something about Hill House could be improved, he/she should have let me... More

Unfortunately the snow destroyed our plans to drive the Blue Ridge Parkway. So it is too bad we booked only one night. Once we got there and especially after the snow and the amazing breakfast served, we wished we could stay several days.

Bed was terribly uncomfortable. Made arrangements to have a "romance package". Was not there when arrived. Pictures were extremely misleading. Breakfast was ok, but I am not a vegetarian. The location was good, but that's about the only good part.

Another recent guest told us that the bed was the best he had slept on in years. We apologized to this guest for the romance package not being prepared upon his arrival, and discounted its price 25%. The room has had improvements since the photos were taken -- a privacy veil has been put on the bed, a 32" flatscreen... More
