We needed a place to stay for one evening as we made our way from NC to Nashville. We love B&B's and found Hill House had an availability so decided to chance it. We had an excellent stay at this beautiful house with very good food. Loved the wine and snacks in the pm - we sat and visited with... More

Luke, Carey and the other staff were very pleasant, fun and welcoming. Breakfasts were creative and good with fun conversation at the breakfast table with other guests. With that said, I am reminded of what my Mother would preach to us: “if you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything”.

Our pipes froze the next-to-last night these guests were here, and we had to move them to a different inn the final night of their stay. Also, one of our staff, who's no longer with us, absentmindedly left our master key in their door after cleaning, which they discovered. If there's anything else they were unhappy with, I don't know.... More

Hill House was exactly what we were looking for. The rooms were super clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely accommodating and helpful to our every question or need. The best part was the amazing breakfasts cooked by Luke. Next time we're in Asheville, we'll definitely look to stay at Hill House.

We stayed 2 nights in conjunction with our 50th wedding anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed it. David kindly provided a dozen roses to for our celebration and checked several times to ensure see we were happy with accommodations. We stayed in the upstair Flat Iron Suite, most spacious and enjoyable with a separate large living room area adjacent to the bedroom.The... More

The Hill House experience somehow manages to unite two contradictory sensations: a homey feeling of comfort with one of impeccable care. Imagine, for example, that you're in a gorgeous historic home, completely updated yet full of character, soundproofed, spotlessly clean and well-appointed, with a staff of highly competent people who seem to really care about their work and are eager... I booked last minute and had to leave before breakfast and the staff was wonderfully accommodating and thoughtful. The Hideaway room is more like a suite - huge, quiet and the bed was really comfortable. I loved the complementary wine and finger food and wish I'd had more time to enjoy them!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Comfortable and cozy rooms, great breakfast, good location with easy access to everything in Asheville. There is a nice garden area to relax outside in the mornings/ evenings as well. The staff was especially nice, shout out to Luke.

My wife & I truly enjoyed our stay at Hill House B&B. The room was comfortable, the breakfasts were wonderful, and the evening snacks and wine were a real treat. My wife especially enjoyed the fresh baked cookies every night. The staff (Carey, Luke, and Eva) were very thoughtful and concerned about our stay. David, the owner, also made an... More

We stayed on the second floor of a small building behind the main house... perfect for the three of us... very roomy with a large bathroom. The king bed was very comfy, the bedroom & sitting area carpet soft, the bathroom tile handsome, and all very clean. We paid extra for the third person, presumably to cover her breakfast, but... Hill House was charming, unique and very intimate! From the warm hospitality to the amenities to the AMAZING plated breakfasts each morning, we found everything to be welcoming and beyond expectation. The whole home was warm and cozy, lived in without being worn and very clean. Our room, the Kress room, was lovely, with beautiful and comfy bedding and eclectic... More
