Lobby & reception: very nice and helpful- front desk can be reached directly instead of through switchboard. Lobby area is very busy with a lot of activity. Has a hostel feel. Outdoor spaces are very nice. The fire pit is really nice to have some snacks and drinks. Gym is also well equipped and clean. Parking: reasonable at $7 a... More

The hotel was built with an IKEA-style in mind - very modern and updated designs with less than the highest quality materials. Don't get me wrong, I liked the hotel but it has unique in design. The room are slightly smaller than the average hotel room but that didn't bother us at all. We actually enjoyed the modern design as... More

First time in Asheville, so I can't compare to other area hotels. Plus side: Good location for exploring the immediate area - the surrounding restaurants are very good. Parking was convenient (although the garage could use better lighting at night) and the room key allowed for easy entry / exit. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, and I... More

VERY pet friendly hotel! We chose this place because they don't charge a pet fee unless your pet damages something. Also, they offered a really cute complimentary welcome package for our dog that included a plush bed for her to lay on, a ball, a food/water bowl, and some treats. The staff was amazing and incredibly helpful the entire time.... More

My husband and I stayed at Aloft on Valentine's weekend - our first visit to this hotel. It was a great experience. Parking (always a concern in Asheville) is easy - the parking deck is attached and makes unloading and checking in easy. The check-in is on the second floor and is in the middle of a huge open bar/game/sitting... More

Stayed 2 nights, comfortable, modern, quiet, but right in the heart of Asheville downtown. Will definitely stay again and look for The Aloft in any other city we go. Staff was friendly and helpful, parking was easy in the adjacent garage, and drinks were available at the XYZ Bar right next to the check-in counter, how sweet is that?

We stopped one night and loved this hotel. It's beautifully designed with great services. One thing we just loved was the hotel's pet friendly policy. We stopped for a drink at the bar and were delighted to see dogs with their owners - we left our pup at home, and it was fun to hang with the dogs! This might... More

One of the most friendly and attentive staffs of any hotel we have visited. The ultra Contempory vibe complimented the fun atmosphere. We loved that their was not only a lobby dog up for adoptions but almost every guest seemed to have a dog. We can't wait to come back and enjoy the micro beer and eclectic food nearby.

Dear Bacchus49, Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience with us. We’re delighted to hear you not only loved our loft-inspired design, but also had the opportunity to play with our foster pup during your stay. Next time you visit us, be sure to stop by the front desk for our favorite restaurant and brewery spots... More

This was my first Aloft experience. I have to say, despite being part of the Starwood Brands, this place in many ways is designed for someone just like me. For instance, they have do-it-yourself laundry facilities, They are pet friendly with no fee, they use Bliss bath products, nice fast free wifi. I like that they have a filtered water... More

After searching trip advisor (as always), we landed on Aloft in Asheville for a one night stay while we toured the town and the Biltmore. We wanted to stay right in the heart of town so we could walk to shops and restaurants, and this hotel was in a perfect location. The hotel itself was fresh and modern, from the... More
