I recently took a long driving vacation that took me through Asheville. Beforehand spent a day pouring over hotels, Trip Advisor and Yelp trying to find a good hotel that was within my budget even with being a Choice rewards member i found that the Rodeway Inns int the area were the cheapest at $92 a night after taxes everything... The gross things my brother and I noticed in our room. At first key did not work to open door. My brother went down the elevator 3 times finally she switched our room and it worked. Then wash my hands goto dry them blood stain all over towel. 2 quetips and a few toe nails on the floor between the... More

As soon as you enter the front entrance to this hotel, it immediately stinks of stale cigarette smoke. Having traveled very extensively throughout the United States, none of us in our group of four thought to ask if this was a smoking hotel. Huge mistake. This isn't just a smoking hotel, it's THE smoking hotel. The stench permeates the ENTIRE... More

The room was very small, and only suitable for a short stay. Asheville seems to have pricey hotels, so the expression ''you get what you pay for'' does not apply in this case, because I would have expected more from the price tag. But I will say the staff was friendly, the room was clean, and the refrigerator was a... More

At check in, I was greeted with a smile and a happy to help you attitude. My check in was quick, and the front desk agent Deena (sp?) who checked me in was professional and very nice. I used the luggage cart to transport my luggage to my room, the luggage carts are old and need to be replace ASAP.... More

This place was OK but not great. The staff were super friendly, very nice and the room was clean. Only complaint really was that the blankets were so old they were seriously threadbare. Surprised that any housekeeping staff would think it was OK to put these on the beds. We have stayed in many cheap motels along the way. Even... More

Well we arrived and checked in which was smooth. Our room was OK. Cigarette burns on the quilts and sheets were no good seeing as we had a non smoking room but we had our own linens so we just ignored it. We left to get Dinner and returned and our room smelled like ciggarettes which was gross. There were... More

This is not only the worst hotel, but the worst experience I have ever had when traveling. First, the hotel has a terrible, musty odor. Clearly, there was a lot of smokers staying there in the past. While I think it is great that this place is pet friendly, twice I saw 2 different dogs urinating in the hallways. While... More

We stayed here for a weekend and there were some good things like the big flat screen tv on the wall, microwave and refrigerator. The bathroom was pretty clean but omg as soon as you open the door to the room, this horrible smell will knock you down. I thought I was going to be sick, thank goodness the window... More

This little gem barely looks like a hotel from the entrance. It's surrounded by gaudier, more expensive names but it offers everything you need for a quick overnight. It's close to I-26 and just a few minutes from downtown Asheville or Hendersonville or the Blue Ridge Parkway. Mark, at the front desk was cheerful, helpful and efficient. The room was... More
