I believe this was the first Springhill Suites I have stayed in. I wrongly assumed it would be on the level of most Courtyards. I was very wrong. The building was "under renovation" which meant construction vehicles and workers and some of the floors were closed. That did not bother really but the room itself was just miserable. First, the... more

We spent 2 nights at The SpringHill Suites. The room is tight for 4 people. The breakfast area was very busy (Easter Weekend) as they stopped serving at 9:00am. Otherwise the personel is friendly. more

I knew we were in trouble the minute I walked in to check in. We arrived on a Friday afternoon and was "greeted" by a very stern unfriendly male desk clerk at the Asheville, NC location. Checking in for what was expected to be a king suite .. I was told none were now available except for a handicap room.or... more

My family and I had a great time visiting Asheville, NC. We were there to visit Biltmore Estate while decorated for Christmas, and made reservations through biltmore.com website hotel and estate packages that was offerred. Springhill Suites is perfectly and conveniently located less than 10 minutes away from Biltmore and right down the road from the shopping mall and lots... more

I realize this is a five story hotel but it's below average. The room has a strange smell when we arrived. Opening the window didn't work. We inquired and were told the cleaning people were using a new deodorizer. Numerous stains on the carpet as well. Carpet just felt as if it needed to be steam cleaned and has been... more

This hotel is located along with a Hampton Inn and Courtyard - the road in is very steep and bears a sign warning not to use it if it is raining or bad weather. The hotel itself is fine, however with Suite in the name I was expecting two rooms but this was only one room with a sofa. There... more

We decided to make a stop in Asheville to see the Biltmore on our road trip home. Called around from the road and this seemed like the best value. Extremely friendly check-in with M&Ms for the kids. We were extremely happy with the large suite which included a microwave, fridge, desk, pull-out sofa, two doublebeds with four pillows each, and... more

Let's start with the positive. The location is convenient to access major attractions in the Asheville area. The breakfast is the usual in terms of "breakfast included with room" setups. Very cheerful hostess. Rooms small, but include fridge, microwave, and sink. Vanity is outside of shower/toilet area. Problems: Elevator was was broke during most of our 4 night stay. Most... more

My husband and I stayed here for one night while visiting Ashville and Biltmore. The hotel location was good. An easy drive to downtown Asheville and Biltmore. There are lots of places to eat close by (although I would skip the chain eateries and head in to town for a good meal at any number of great restaurants). The room... more
