Very clean hotel. Close to the Biltmore and only a few minutes drive to downtown Ashveville. The hot breakfast was a welcome change of pace and the free parking makes it a bargain compared to downtown Asheville hotels. I would definitely stay again.

Baymont hotels in general seem to be gong downhill. I once preferred Wyndham properties but am finding Fairfield a comparable price and better experience. The Baymont Inn Asheville is so convenient. It's within walking distance to Biltmore Village where I suggest you try breakfast at the Country Kitchen and dinner at Fig and Rezaz. While you can find other chain hotels in the area that are priced a little lower, we chose the Baymont primarily for the location. It's a bit more central than some of the others. You can walk to Biltmore Village, with its shops and restaurants. We had a king room, which was very large, clean and the bed was great.... More

The staff was great and the room was clean. Breakfast was excellent. The only drawback is the kitchen area also doubles as the bathroom sink. We are smokers and had to stay on the third floor with no balcony which was inconvenient and cold for our smoking outside.

Let's get the bad news out of the way first.....I would have given this hotel four dots (but it's certainly worth three and a half) were it not for the size of the breakfast area.
