Spent the weekend here with my wife and was impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the stat when we checked in. The room was standard (a little small for a Renaissance) but was clean and stocked with all the needed amenities. The bed was comfortable and we both had a great night sleep. Parking was ample and free but... More

First time in Asheville and this was in the perfect location--walking distance to trendy, boho, Hipster downtown shops and restaurants. Cool, modern lobby. Has restaurant and room service, but we didn't use either. Comfy beds and pillows, but thought bathroom was a bit too small. Other than that, great hotel!

This hotel is in the perfect, location! Very professional friendly staff-our room was a corner room and was the average size with two double beds. Request for higher up floor to take advantage of the great mountian views. The lobby was upscale trendy, cool, and a great place to hang out. There is also an outdoor patio that is modern, and... Easy walk to shops , outside vendors, and restaurants. The chocolate cake served in the bar was great. The bar area was nice. Staff are very friendly. Nice outside lounge area too. A good place for large events.

My wife Shelly and I recently visited this hotel for one week, while on vacation. It is in a great spot in the city, the rooms were clean and the food/drink was fantastic! One person in particular stands out for me as the benchmark for GREAT customer service. His name is Zebulon Griffith. He was so helpful and nice to... More

We recently stayed because we wanted an affordable downtown Asheville hotel. This was great! Well, they didn't read the notes on the reservation at check-in, but they rallied and remedied everything. I had read about it being a little dated, but I didn't think so. The rooms were well appointed and the hotel was quiet, for having a conference and... More

Business trip for 4 nights to this hotel. The hotel is very conveniently located, close to the downtown area of Asheville and to the numerous cafes, restaurants and activities. I had a "king" room: the bed was excellent (very comfortable, plenty of pillows) but the bathroom was cramped and, for this type of property, had a surprising "shower in the... More

We received great service from a knowledgeable staff. Our room was nicely appointed with plenty of space. Very clean and comfortable. We were within walking distance to many downtown asheville restaurants, bars and shops. We will definitely stay here again.

One night stay while traveling through town. The hotel is at the edge of the downtown area but it is definitely walkable. The rooms are nicely done. The staff is friendly and attentive. I would recommend this hotel.

Downtown Asheville is always busy and there is always something happening so staying in the heart of all the action was perfect for us. I used to live in Asheville and the Renaissance always had a good reputation. Everything was clean and comfortable and the staff helpful. Worked out perfectly for our stay!
