My boyfriend and I stayed for two nights at this hotel memorial day weekend. The pros of this hotel were the great view, comfortable beds, and an excellent location. This hotel has an amazing view of the city, so if you stay here definitely request a city view. It is also within walking distance of several restaurants and shops. However;... More

We had a king room on the 11th floor. Very roomy, loved the higher ceilings in this property and the window wall. Bathroom is smallish, especially the tub/shower if you're taller or wider than average. Free parking! And you're close enough to walk over to Biltmore Ave and elsewhere and enjoy what Asheville has to offer. We didn't eat breakfast... More

It all comes down to philosophy. Are you good enough, or is there room for improvement? Great Views, Nice rooms. Small things - No business center Waiting in line at registration desk No concierge desk Waiting in line at restaurant. Waiting for someone to wait on you. Sloppy painting of rooms and hallways (nit picking, I know, but you NOTICE).... More

Just stayed last weekend for a visit with friends. The hotel was so nice and clean and the staff was very friendly. The vending machine didn't work for my water, so I drank the $4 bottle in the room. I told front desk since I was charged the $4 and they took it off my bill without even hesitating. We... More

I am thrilled that I chose this hotel for my getaway to Asheville. It sits at the quieter edge of town, yet is an easy walk to shopping, dining and exploring. Connor at check-in was friendly, professional, and gave me terrific restaurant recommendations. All of the staff I encountered were proficient and seemed to enjoy their jobs, so thanks to... More

Had a 3 night stay at this hotel. Had a room on the 7th floor which was a very nice size and nicely furnished. The in-room refrigerator was a great thing to have. The personnel were knowledgeable and extremely courteous. Will stay here again.

I was at this hotel at the end of April for a conference and had an excellent experience. From the time I checked in, until I left, the staff was most pleasant and helpful. My room was on the 10th floor & I had a marvelous view of the city and the surrouning mountains. Room was clean, well arranged, quiet... More

As a guest that has visited this hotel multiple times in the past two years, I feel qualified in firmly stating that this hotel is going downhill. In fact, this past visit may be the last because this hotel is not worthy of the Renaissance brand label from Marriott. The lobby area remains fresh and modern but the rest of... More

Big convention type hotel centrally located. Parking is difficult. Room had great mountain view. The only hotel Bar is tiny maybe four seats. Elevators are slow. You can walk to most micro breweries and restaurants. Thomas Wolfe home is next door. Just a few miles from Biltmore and Blue Ridge Parkway. Asheville has a huge young homeless population that can be... More

We had a comfortable three nights, the room was fresh & clean & we had everything we needed. Our only disappointment was our view of the air conditioning system out of our 3rd floor room. I always wonder why any hotel would want to give any guest a room with a bad view unless they were completely booked. Aside from... More
