Selected this hotel because of its location....can't be beat. Walking distance to all of downtown Asheville.....art galleries, restaurants, funky places. A little dated, rooms look over the pool, sort of like a 1960s motel. Clean room, great staff, free breakfast, free parking, very cool. Great price. Highly recommended!

I loved this place! I will be back. The price is great and the best location to visit downtown asheville. $15 cab ride to Biltmore Estate. The view from our window was downtown and the mountains. It does need updates but it was clean and staff is very nice.

Best kept secret of downtown Asheville! It's all about location with this hotel. Plus they offer a free breakfast. The pool area has a really cool mural. Though the rooms are nothing fancy, they are clean and comfortable. I stay here every time I go to Asheville. You just can't beat the value, plus the staff are all very helpful... More

Not as sketchy on outside as expected other reviews. Outdated, but clean and plenty of space. Only $10/dog/night. Saw lots of people using pool, which looked clean. Parking lot was tight for suv, but lots of room in overflow. Good location. Nice staff. Good enough for one night. Would be willing to upgrade and pay more for a nicer place... More

Downtown multi-story motel-hotel from the 1960s, with elevators, easy access to highway. Doors open to breezeways. Basic, clean and comfortable rooms with supportive beds -- furniture and carpeting typical for age and price range. Bring your favorite pillow. Internet can be slow and difficult to log on, not good for streaming. Cute pool area. Don't be put off by lobby... More

We requested a king size bed and got two double beds. The hair dryer did not work and the room itself was kind of gross. The staff was very kind and apologized for messing the reservation up which was great. The bathroom in our room did not have a door but instead a curtain. The shower was a stand up... More

This hotel is centrally located to the downtown area. It's not a fancy place but it does the job. Clean rooms, refrigerator and microwave. Just blocks away from some of the key gastro pubs and breweries that make Asheville a premier brew town. The breakfast is a step above the standard continental.

Classic case of you get what you pay for. It wasn't dirty and the staff we generally friendly. The location was excellent. However, it is just old. My room didnt have hot water, but it was warm. The A/C also made a little too much noise to have a peaceful nights sleep. If you are going to a budget weekend... More

So I read the reviews, but was looking for a cheap hotel in Asheville that was centrally-located. Location was great. You can walk to the main sites easily. The other side of Patton Ave is a little bit bare/dicey, so it's better to walk towards the downtown side only. The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. The room looked... More

I found this motel online when hubby and I were spending one night in Asheville and wanted to be within walking distance of the downtown bars and restaurants. What a great find it turned out to be! The price is much cheaper than other hotels in the area. They don't allow locals, since locals tend to bring a group and... More
