My husband planned for us to go to Asheville for the weekend for my birthday. We had never been before, so everything was a first for us. The hotel was in a great location for that reason. It was close to everything. Biltmore was around 10 mins away, which was on top of our list of things to do. Also... More

You absolutely can't beat the location of this hotel. Perfect spot to easily walk all around downtown Asheville (make sure to get to breakfast at Tupelo Honey during your stay). Not the most modern/updated hotel, but the rooms are clean with comfortable beds and convenient fridge & microwave (and we love that we can bring our dog!). When we arrived... More

I stayed at the Downtown Inn & Suites and had an amazing experience. Rene the women who worked the front desk was so kind and friendly. She showed us the room before we decided to book it. The room was very clean and the complimentary breakfast till noon was awesome!! I stayed for 4 nights and felt at home. I... More

I stayed here with friends for New Years eve. The hotel is pretty nice and the staff were super nice! The beds were nice and soft. The rooms were very clean. Overall we had a great experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for our anniversary weekend in November. It's easy to walk around the city from the hotel--we didn't move our car until our last day. We bring our own pillows everywhere we go--we both love our own and spent a lot of time finding them. We forgot to take them with us when we left and thought they... More

From the outside this hotel may look like your typical 2 star hotel, however the rooms are surprisingly modern. The location is right in downtown Asheville, amongst shops, bars, and good food. I usually stick to at least a 4 star, however this hotel is a great find. If you like comfortable and location, give this hotel a try.

We stayed here for five nights on our first time in Asheville. It was recommended by friends. It turned out be exactly as described. No it is not a four star hotel, but it provides a great place to stay convenient to everything Asheville has to offer. It. Very clean although has a rundown appearance. The beds were very comfortable and... More

The purpose of my Asheville visit was simple: relax, enjoy and experience the city’s excellent brewery scene. Asheville was named Beer City for three successive years. The most responsible way to do this was to find a convenient base of operations, one adjacent to the many breweries and accessible to public transit since I had no intention of driving. Now... More

We stayed here on Saturday night while in town for a wedding. We come to Asheville often but this was the first time we stayed here. The hotel is dated and shows its age. However we found it to be comfortable, clean and very reasonably priced! The owner and staff we very friendly and accommodating. We arrived way before normal... More

We stayed here on a busy weekend when all other hotels were $450+ per night - this hotel was much more reasonable. While the rooms were old, lobby was a bit depressing looking and the room doors are situated against a busy street, the location was great. We could walk everywhere we wanted to be within a few minutes. One... More
