Has clean comfortable rooms with all the amenities in a central downtown location. Friendly staff and good breakfast included, all at a great price. They even have what looked like a very nice swimming pool, wish I'd had time to take a dip in it. Highly recommended.

I read some reviews about this place knocking the rooms and what not. Honestly it's just a run of the mill hotel...don't stay here if you enjoy mints on your pillows and lounging in the lobby. Having said that...I loved it! It's literally in walking distance to EVERYTHING! So convenient ...the staff was so helpful and friendly...the breakfast is pretty... More

Room was nicer than the common areas of the hotel. Staff was helpful and friendly. Location is the best thing about the hotel. Right downtown, could walk everywhere. Breakfast was decent but not spectacular. Parking spaces are the smallest I have ever seen.

This place is a great deal in the heart of Asheville. I stayed here while on a girls trip and was perfect for what we needed. Considering the great price we figured that the rooms would be out dated and worn down and we were correct. The staff was very helpful and aided our check out and check in process.... More

We stayed here for 2 nights and really enjoyed our time. Front desk employees were very helpful. The room was very clean; the bathroom ceiling tiles do need to be replaced. We parked and did not more our car until we left. GREAT LOCATION!! Our internet connection was the best I've ever had in a hotel. The air conditioner worked... More

I had passed this hotel many times while in Asheville and never stayed there because it looks a little decrepit and I was right. We stayed here because other hotels were all booked up. The lobby looks old and in need of repair as does one elevator. Rooms are clean but this is an old-style hotel with the rooms all... More

Our lobby is being renovated currently and the guest is right that the old elevator one needs attention. We have plans for the elevator. We buy our linen from a nationally recognized manufacturer. The towels that we purchase are 27” x 50” in size and they have a special pattern on elevation “centium core”. These are considered to be good... More

Location, location, location. Parked up and didn't use the car 'till I left. Clean but older furnishings. Had trouble with wifi connection but not the end of the world. Easily walked to restaurants and bars in Asheville. They respect the fact that travelers need charging facilities and provide a handy power strip. Fairly quiet, I was facing the pool rather... More

I came to asheville for a weekend to enjoy the beer camp festival. As I help. Friend check into to room I was told I was not allowed back on the property and had 10 minutes to pack or the police would be here to escort me and my friend off the property. The hotel could not keep track of... More

We have no record of this individual staying with us. During this weekend we had 4-5 rooms rented by individuals who were in town for a “bachelor's party”. We had several problems with these individuals, mainly being intoxicated, bringing unregistered guests on the property, and being rowdy. We sent this individual an email asking for what room he stayed in.... More

I switched rooms at the hotel so that I could get two full beds instead of a king. The front desk worker allowed me to switch to a room that he had just evicted people from that had not had a chance to really even use the room. I stayed there that night and went on the brews cruise in... More

If you are in to fancy hotels with plush pillow top beds and fluffy towels, try somewhere else. But... if you want the best location in Asheville, and a clean and quiet place to sleep, I say this is it! The location is outstanding and once you park your car in their free lot, right at the front door, you... More
