We just spent a fabulous weekend in Asheville and had the pleasure of staying in the suite. It was cozy, quiet and very well appointed. We felt like we were close enough to all the things we wanted to do and still got to retire to serenity. Highly recommend.

The cottage is nice, it is in a GREAT spot with a GREAT view of Asheville. You can tell that the owners (whom are very nice) put a lot of effort into this place. If you have any issues with anything ta all they are more than happy to help you out if you call them and ask for help.... More

Had a wonderful and relaxing vacation. Not far from downtown. The place was spotless, nice touches, and super comfy. My husband and I stayed in the suite. I loved the decor and especially the bed, my husband enjoyed grilling and using the hot tub. This is my go to vacation spot. Will definitely stay here again!

My husband and I really enjoyed this cottage. The views were great and the location wasn't far from asheville. We enjoyed climbing up the super windy road. The quality inside and all their special touches were noticeable. There were a couple things we were surprised about...we laughed when we saw chili pepper seasoning in the bedroom (random). I stepped on... More

This review is a little late, apologies! This is not your typical BnB. Honestly, I think its better. My boyfriend and I stayed here for a few days in October 2013 and it was the best stay in Asheville that I have ever had. We stayed in the suite, a perfect and cozy one bedroom with the best view of... More

My husband and I stayed at the suite at Bittersweet for an anniversary weekend. It was exactly what I was looking for, a mountain retreat without being a cheesy 80s cabin. It was perfect. The view from the deck and suite is amazing. The suite is perfect, very clean and very comfortable. We did not want to leave and cannot... More

My husband and I just recently stayed in the cottage and to our delight, everything was as beautiful in person as it is shown in the photos. Matt was so attentive, friendly and welcoming, which was also refreshing. They have done a great job anticipating and meeting every need any guest may have during their stay. You can definitely tell... More

WOW!!! Calling this place incredible would be an understatement, it was beyond our highest expectations!! My husband and I came to stay at the Bittersweet Cottage on our honeymoon. As soon as we walked in the door we were jumping up and down. The place is BEAUTIFUL!! Just 5 minutes outside of Asheville it is a hidden gem. Matt &... More

Stayed here for our 20th wedding anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed! Cottage was beautiful, clean, with wonderful amenities and lots of perks (breakfast in the fridge, gourmet kitchen, plenty of towels, robes). The best part is the view - Unbelievable! You can see the mountains and the City overlook, not only from the deck, but the hot tub and even the... More

We booked Bittersweet Cottage as a rest stop after we celebrated our daughter's destination wedding in Georgia. We could not have been better pampered. Matt met us at the cottage to give us details on the property and advice on where to get food, services, etc. He was very hospitable, Thanks! We were amazed by all the incredible quality that...
