Our little trio went as hostel virgins and truly enjoyed the experience. Our pods were cozy and private. Do grab ear buds(complimentary) even if you are a good sleeper as even the most considerate roommate can be a bit loud climbing up + down their bunks in the middle of the night. Great trip...thank you!

Sweet Peas was perfect for our trip to Asheville. We only stayed one night and booked a private room. If you have checked the prices of accomodation lately, you will see that lodging is very pricey in Asheville. Sweet Peas is a reasonable priced, clean, central lodging that we hope to return to on next year when we visit Asheville... More

I NEED TO WRITE A BOOK and I was only there 4 days. I was very apprehensive about staying in a hostel. I was in the military 40 years ago so I decided to brave it. I mean, after all, it couldn't be any worse than that and it was co-ed to boot. I was a bit concerned since I... More

First time staying in a hostel, and we were pleasantly surprised with Sweet Peas! The facility was conveniently located, very clean, and the staff was fantastic. The space was very cool and comfortable. It was pretty noisy in the middle of the night from people outside. Would definitely stay again if in the area!

Sweet peas is a great hostel in a great location. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The whole place is very clean and has all the amenities you could need including a kitchen, hangout space, laundry, and linens are provided. The location is perfect as well! The only down side is that everything is open. There are no doors... More

Stayed with girlfriends for one night and had a great time. Great location-we were able to walk all around downtown and loved visiting the breweries. Hostel staff was friendly and helpful and the facilities were nice and clean.

My boyfriend and I stayed stayed in one of the private rooms on a weekend trip to Asheville to check out art, hike, etc. Pros: Clean Safe Cons: Private room was terrible. It was just large enough for a very uncomfortable, full-sized bed and a poorly functioning, miniature sink in the corner. The picture online is very deceiving, there is... More

Never been to a hostel b4. Let me say the front desk was more than happy to answer all my questions about safety. I was a single woman traveling alone. So it was nice they had 2 locked doors to come in to the hostel. On entering check in was swift. Staff was awesome. I ask for a bottom pod... More

Sweet peas is a great find in an ideal location. Everything is on your doorstep! We heard it could get a little noisy as the shared rooms are separated with open topped walls, but had no problems with this and slept well. Staff were friendly and helpful and it's one of the cleanest places I've stayed. More appropriate if you're... More

The sweet pea is above a brewery in downtown. It is in a great area if you are interested in going on brewery tours and eating at some great restaurants. We booked a private room, which included a sink. The place is very clean, and is a great option if you're on a budget. The room was very dark, because... More
