Dude at the front desk was awesome. The whole place is spotlessly clean. I stayed 2 nights in a room with 7 other people and had no complaints. I heard one 40ish year old woman say something because of noise from the bar below but it didn't bother me-then again I am a 23 year old who lives with 4... More

This hostel has a great location, is very clean, and has some great amenities. When we arrived, the woman that checked us in was not exactly the friendliest of people and was a little hard to work with, but we later learned that she was new, so we chalked it up to that. I heard some creaks and a little... More

The Sweet Peas Hostel is well located in downtown Ashville. It is very clean, the common area are cosy & there is complimentary coffee. The private pods are a really good concept which is a long twin bed with a curtain for extra privacy. The down side is that there is a noisy bar next door, although I have been... More

This was my boyfriend and I's first time staying in a hostel. It was such an awesome experience. I love all of the travel maps, books, and brochures. It does seem a little crammed with space, but we weren't around to hang out much, just to sleep. They have ear plugs but I am a light sleeper so I heard... More

When we first got to the hostel and rang the doorbell the lady answering wouldnt let us get a bed because it was full.. We stayed outside for like two minutes and a guy working there eventually came and booked us in. We then found out that there was no other people living there except us and that all the... More

How does anyone sleep here? The adjoining bar is so loud that ear plugs do not remotely begin to block out the noise. It is unfortunate, because the place is otherwise quite nice. It is clean, well-furnished, and well-located. The staff is also very nice and helpful. Despite all that I would rather sleep in my vehicle which would be... More

Clean, comfortable, and centrally located in downtown. My one complaint is the open floor plan. It's odd and noisy. There was someone up at the crack of dawn cooking (I kid you not) brussel sprouts for breakfast. Since there is not a true wall, you get to experience all the smells and sounds from the kitchen, which is not fantastic.... More

We stayed at Sweat Peas Hostel for two nights on October 2012. Very clean and organized hostel. Cleanliness is top for me. Very conveniently located in center of town, next door to a martini bar which is great! No need to drink and drive! Very decently priced. The only draw back is the loud music from the bar next door....... More

I've stayed twice already. It's super cute, clean and friendly. It's close to everything and you're right off the main strip if you want to go out for a bite. It's a bit loud from the pub below so, if you're a light sleeper, it might be a bit loud for you. I absolutely LOVE the pods! You close the... More

For budget travelers, like me, this was an excellent hostel; one of the best I have stayed in. It had an open floorplan, tables to sit at to eat or read, big screen TV with nice sitting area and "library" of books and DVD's, free wifi, free filtered water, and good, clean showers. In fact, that was what impressed me... More
