The sweet pea is above a brewery in downtown. It is in a great area if you are interested in going on brewery tours and eating at some great restaurants. We booked a private room, which included a sink. The place is very clean, and is a great option if you're on a budget. The room was very dark, because... More

I needed in inexpensive place to say in downtown Asheville, I found this through a google search. I was skeptical as I have never stayed in a Hostel before and a lot of the reviews mentioned noise from the brewery below, I thought I would take a chance. I made my reservation by phone with no issues, I was lucky... More

The idea of a hostel in the day and age of airbnb has essentially made them pointless, since a big reason anyone stays at one is for an inexpensive place to sleep and to keep as a base. Sweet Peas has one thing going for it, its downtown location. Unfortunately that is also a detriment, since it happens to be... More

I loved Sweet Pea and am looking forward to returning. Clean. Classic entrance off a brewery storage hallway. Great location in the middle of old Asheville. Helpful, friendly staff. Modern facilities - toilets and tiled showers. Reasonably priced parking garage across the street. I had a private room on a Friday night. The room size and furnishings were a good... More

Truly disturbing. I was not informed of the check-in by 10PM policy when I called and made reservations (even though I asked about it) and so my friend and I ended up on the streets in the middle of the night with nowhere to stay.

I wasn't sure what to expect when booking Sweet Pea's, but I was pleasantly surprised. Usually I am a hotel kind of girl -- I like my privacy, my extra towels, room service and some extra space to sprawl out, so I didn't know if this would be a great fit for me but I really liked it! I stayed... More

We loved staying here at the Sweet Pea Hostel. This modern hostel is perfectly located in Downtown Asheville. Some might think that its too perfectly located. The hostel is located right above a bar/music venue and when checking in they will give you ear plugs if you need them. We didn't need them. There are so many great options to... More

I went back and forth between rating this 3 or 4 stars. The place is a very well kept and sharp looking hostel in the heart of Asheville. It is a phenomenal location if you are just wanting to explore the town for a weekend as it's easy walking distance to a multitude of restaurants and breweries. Everything seemed to... More

Dude at the front desk was awesome. The whole place is spotlessly clean. I stayed 2 nights in a room with 7 other people and had no complaints. I heard one 40ish year old woman say something because of noise from the bar below but it didn't bother me-then again I am a 23 year old who lives with 4... More

This hostel has a great location, is very clean, and has some great amenities. When we arrived, the woman that checked us in was not exactly the friendliest of people and was a little hard to work with, but we later learned that she was new, so we chalked it up to that. I heard some creaks and a little... More
