A fantastic place to stay. We took both rooms and were able to fully enjoy the house. It is beautifully refurbished. The breakfasts were delicious and included some homemade cakes and muffins. Fresh herbs from the garden were used to flavor the egg dishes. The help were very friendly and gave us great recommendations on places to eat and visit.... More

My wife and I were so sad to hear that Bob and his staff were closing their doors after Memorial Day... we were so excited to have found our new anniversary getaway tradition! The breakfast was delicious, the room cozy and the entire property meticulously groomed and maintained. Best of luck to the entire staff in their next adventures, and... More

Our decision to stay here was heavily influenced by previous reviews. There is not a lot more we can add that hasn't already been said. Great food, location and hospitality from Bob, Christine and Maia.

This is the second time that we have stayed at Louisa's. Bob and his staff continue to host guests with a seamless, quality experience. The room and home was exceptionally clean and comfortable, we had time for a relaxing afternoon hot tub experience, breakfast with Bob and other guests was filled with good humor and discussion and delicious to eat!... I have stayed at Louisa's Porch for a week four Aprils in a row. The charming, knowledgeable host, Bob Talley, makes this absolutely the best B&B in Asheville. He and his talented staff, Christine and Maia, make every moment a pleasure. The breakfasts are authentically Southern and downright delicious. The rooms are as well-appointed as they are comfortable. Bob will... More

My wife and I both loved our stay at Louisa's Porch. The host was very helpful about local attractions and gave me very good directions where to go. The B&B is very comfortable, clean, and tidy...and warm and cosy - the spring weather was cold! It is a short stroll to downtown Asheville and its many and varied restaurants. I... More

Recently spent a weekend here while visiting friends in Asheville. Bob was the master of hospitality making us feel right at home and happy to share details about Louisa's Porch's history. The breakfasts made by Maia were phenomenal. Easy walking distance to everything downtown. I have never felt more at home at a B&B. Will be returning often.

My family and I stayed here during Christmas time and it was perfect. From the moment we walked in, Bob made us feel at home. The room was very cozy & clean. Breakfast was healthy, wholesome and incredibly delicious. Maia and Cristine are excellent chefs and we really enjoyed talking with them over breakfast. We also loved that Louisa's Porch... More

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. We always had everything we needed and time with or hosts, but also had our privacy when we wanted it. The breakfast was great and we enjoyed the uniquely landscaped, peaceful backyard. Easy walk to downtown and restaurants. Highly recommend this well maintained, comfortable B&B.

"Perfect" is how I would describe out stay at Louisa's Porch! We had just dropped kiddo's off for camp and we were ready to see what Asheville had to offer. We were not dissappointed. Louisa's Porch is within walking distance of downtown Asheville and with Bob's reccomondations we were not dissapointed with anything. Breakfast was wonderful and healthy. Room was... More
