I spent four nights there with my girlfriend and in order for them to accommodate us we had a different room each night. Every room we stayed in was beautiful! The breakfast was gourmet each morning and the hors d'oeuvres and wine was a welcome back treat at the end of each day. Peter and Lori and all their staff... More

Every October my husband and I love to go to the New England area. We lived on Long Island at the time. Over the years we have stayed in many beautiful BnB's in the New England. Within the last year we moved to North Carolina . The first October came and went and I really missed our New England BnB... More

We spent 2 nights here, Oct.1&2, 2014 and just had the nicest time. Peter and Lori are the perfect inn keepers. Shortly after our arrival we were invited to join the other guests on the front porch for wine and hors d'oeuvres (every night something different and freshly made). Peter would join in and was great at moving around among... More

My husband and I stayed here for our babymoon and were so impressed I can't wait to go back! It was central to everything we wanted to do and it was the perfect place to relax. Quiet and friendly--excellent food! Stay here; you won't be disappointed!

The Black Walnut Inn is located in a restored ca. 1900 home designed by the builder of The Biltmore Estate. It features large rooms, beautifully restored black walnut floors and woodwork, and comfortable sitting areas and bedrooms. The Inn is located on an originally fashionable street (now reclaimed with period restorations) only a mile or so from the center of... More

This was our second stay at the Black Walnut B&B in Asheville NC. It was very enjoyable and quite historical B&B. It is well decorated in period furniture and service settings. Peter and Lori are great host and love spending time getting to know their guest. The breakfast meals are unique and well prepared. The landscape and flora are well... More

It's been a while since we have been on an extended stay in Asheville but when we do, we always stay at the Black Walnut Bed and Breakfast. We've had the pleasure of staying there several times over the years and gotten to know Peter and Lori (Inn Keepers) very well. The rooms are beautiful and every detail well thought... More

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at the Black Walnut. After two nights in the quirky Dogwood room we were delighted to be able to stay on as we wanted to enjoy more of the city. As planned, our bags were seamlessly switched to the Walnut room whilst we were out for the day so we were... More

My wife and I recently stayed with Peter and Lori at Black Walnut. It was a great experience. We have stayed at quite a few B&B over the years and this one ranks right at the top. Breakfast each morning was wonderful and filling. The rooms were very large and well appointed. My wife and I stayed for our 28th... More

We stayed at the Black Walnut from 8-13 to 8-16. We had a great time, Peter and Lori took care of all our needs and questions. My wife has a wheat allergy and they specifically made items that were gluten free for her, and she absolutely loved them. The knowledge of places and the area were most valuable and they... More
