We stayed at the Interlaken from Dec 27 to Jan 2 09. We agree with all the positive things all the reviews said. The main purpose of our trip was for our Dachshund to take a break from the city and run more freely in open spaces. He certainly enjoyed Lake James State Park and the drive up Mt Mitchell.... more

The pictures don't do the Chalet justice. It was beautifully decorated but very practical for the dogs. The kitchen was well stocked and everything was clean and updated. We will definitely stay at the Asheville Swiss Chalet when visiting again. more
