Nice hotel but not worth the money paid for room for one night. The beds are hard and the pillows aren't much to talk about...bring your own, needless to say I didn't get much rest. Other than that the hotel was clean, staff was nice and hotel is close to everything.

Thank you for choosing the Courtyard Hotel while you were visiting the Biltmore Estate. I appreciate your kind words about the staff. Please accept my apology that you did not like the firmness of the mattress. The mattresses are Serta Perfect Sleeper, Hotel Suite line, as approved by Marriott. We have had softer mattresses in the past, by Jamison, as... More

This Marriott is a bit run down and shows it's age... however, the staff is by far some of the absolute BEST I've ever had the pleasure of hosting me! I purposely use the word 'host', because they obviously made a fantastic effort to play host to the best of their ability and did a super stellar job! In the... More

Thank you so much for the candid and wonderful review of the hotel. As you noted, the hotel is not a brand new property, but has been renovated according to Marriott standards. We are due up next year to renovate the sleeping rooms again. Although you did not find everything perfect, you allowed us to correct our shortcomings and prove... More

We were visiting Asheville from northern Illinois with my husband and two daughters and to look at colleges and of course see the Biltmore. We chose to stay at the Courtyard as a landing pad for three nights. Staff extremely helpful, nice lobby, clean pool and comfortable beds and the nicest cafe staff! The only negative is the snow storm... More

No breakfast is included. (When did courtyard give up on breakfast?) Wifi does not work despite instructions card. The rooms were clean although the bathroom felt super cheap. There are less expensive hotels in the area for this quality. We stayed in room 313. The room was massive but lack of furniture felt cavernous. Staff is very friendly. Building is... More

Please accept my apology that you thought the rooms at the Courtyard were "just OK". The rooms are decorated to Marriott standards. The room you stayed in is not our standard room with two double beds. It is an extended room with an additional sleeper sofa besides 2 chairs. I am sorry that yo had troubles connecting to the internet.... More

We visited for three days and the first morning I met Camille @ Starbucks counter at this hotel. For the next 2 consecutive mornings Camille remembered not only me but exactly how I like my coffee. I'm picky. I really appreciated her. The room was ok, the beds were so-so but, the staff was fantastic so we will stay there... More

I would like to start with the positives because there are many of them...Quick friendly helpful check in! Staff was great from the moment we stepped foot in front door. Drinks are great at little bar, pool is small but not a huge hotel so I think it is sufficient. Nice outside area with fire pit. Hotel has clearly been... More

Thank you staying at the Courtyard during your recent visit to Asheville. Your positive comments about the hotel and staff are greatly appreciated. Please accept my apology that you heard noises from the rooms around you. As you stated, the hotel was full and with this time of year people can be busy socializing with family and friends. I am... We stayed at the Courtyard as part of a Biltmore package. It is about 5 minutes from the Biltmore entrance, but is an easy trip via freeway with directions provided by the hotel. Highlights were a friendly staff at check in and in the little coffee shop in the lobby. The included breakfast was served at your table, not a... More

Not in the downtown area nor in the immediate Biltmore vicinity but close enough that you can be there in a few minutes. Hotel is nice with a great indoor heated pool and hot tub plus a nice outdoor area complete with fire pit. Clean and well appointed room. I would stay here again.

My wife and I stayed at the Marriott Courtyard while visiting the Biltmore Estates. This is not the best Courtyard that I have ever stayed in. The bedding packages need to be upgraded with better pillow top mattresses and queen size pillows. Housekeeping need some attention to details in some areas. As a Marriott Rewards Platinum Elite member I paid... More

Thank you for staying at the Courtyard recently. I am sorry that you did not like the mattresses at the hotel. These are approved by Marriott, but are much firmer than the mattresses we have had in the past. We are scheduled to have our rooms renovated in January of 2015. Hopefully we will be returning to the memory-foam type... More

Not in downtown, but what a value. I would stay again. Nice bar. The food was goos. the service was good and the staff were very courteous. The coke machine was out of order on our floor, but that is no big deal.
