We needed a place to rest for our visit to the Biltmore Estate. It was clean and close to the Estate, the front desk was very helpful in answering our questions. We would have preferred a breakfast buffet instead of a ticket for breakfast. We were also disappointed that we couldn't help ourselves to coffee and needed to wait for... More

Stayed July 2014. The folks at the front island (formerly known as desk) were very friendly and helpful. Requested top floor and request was granted. Beds were fine but the pillows are worn but clean. Housekeeping was great for our 3 night stay. Internet would not come up automatically after ip address was assigned. Had to get the tec support... My husband and I wanted to visit the Biltmore Estate and picked this Courtyard by the internet not knowing the area. It is a great play to stay while visiting Asheville. The room was great, the service by everyone that was fantastic and we both liked the Bistro for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Also there is a nice restaurant just... More

From a Platinum Marriott Member -- Stayed overnight to go to the Biltmore. The service was excellent at the front desk - room was average courtyard - needed updating but was ok for a few hours. Nice back patio relaxing.

The hotel was fine, but the beds are absolutely awful. They were so hard I could not sleep a wink. Add to that, we were placed in a first floor room, right behind the bar! Who puts a room there? Now - I did not ask to change figuring it had to be soundproofed or something. I heard everything from... More

Thank you for staying at the Courtyard Asheville recently. Please accept my apology that you found the mattress too hard to your liking. It is a Marriott specified mattress, manufactured by Serta Perfect Sleeper. Whenever we renovate the guest rooms next year, I will suggest we utilize a different Marriott specified mattress that is previously had a buffet, but when... More

I booked this hotel specifically because they had Jacuzzi rooms. I called prior to making the reservations and they said they Jacuzzi's were definitely big enough for 2 people. The only way 2 people comfortably fit in this tub is if they are both under 10. Needless to say I spent more money on the room and never got in... More

Thank you for staying at the Courtyard and sharing your opinion. Please accept my apology that you were not happy with the spa tub in your room or the mattresses on the beds. Your assessment is correct that the whirlpool tubs are more suited to one person rather than two. They are also located in the bathroom and are designed... More

The best thing about this property is the location! Near many restaurants within walking & driving distance (next door & within one mile). Also near attractions in Asheville. The common areas of the hotel are kept clean. The room & bathroom where we stayed looked dated and needed some repairs. For $199+ tax/night, I expected a better accommodation. If I... More

Thank for staying at the Courtyard while you were in Asheville. I am glad you like the hotel, and appreciate your comments. The hotel is scheduled to be renovated again next year, and the bathrooms will be a major focus to update with new tile, etc. The current decor in the guestrooms is 5 years old and will be replaced... Overall, the hotel is really nice. It is clean with a modern look. My only complaint is the beds are horrible and small.I booked a two double bed room. Breakfast is not included, no complimentary breakfast. I am visiting for Mother's Day/Graduation week and we checked out early because the beds were so uncomfortable. If you have back problems, I... Thank you for staying at the Courtyard Asheville while you attended graduation at UNCA. I am sorry that you did not like the mattresses at the hotel. The mattresses we use are specified by Marriott and are Serta Perfect Sleeper Corporate Suites line. It is understandable that the firmness of a mattress is a very personal choice. If you found... Ten minutes from Biltmore with lots of restaurants around. Clean, but you can hear everything through the walls. Fire pit out back was fun despite the wet cushions! No tornado warning system per front desk which was concerning for us as we don't see many- so not much sleep! No basement to hide in either. Breakfast bistro was convenient!

Nice hotel but not worth the money paid for room for one night. The beds are hard and the pillows aren't much to talk about...bring your own, needless to say I didn't get much rest. Other than that the hotel was clean, staff was nice and hotel is close to everything.
