This trip was a disaster from the get-go. When I arrived, they didn't have me in their computer. Fortunately, the friendly gentleman at the desk hooked me up with a room after showing him my confirmation. Unfortunately, the room he gave me smelled like a dead fish had been buried under the carpet. I requested another room, only to find... more

I booked this hotel through Hotwire and really didn't read any reviews until after I came back from my stay at this hotel. Looking at the previous posters, it would seem you would descend into a hellhole. Based on my experience, I didn't find many faults with the hotel. It is, after all, set up for extended stays, so if... more

We loved the location of the hotel. We found the service excellent. We had never been in the area and the staff was extremely helpful with great directions. It was great to come back to the room after a long day of site seeing,to have a almost full size refrid/stove/microwave.Definately will stay there in the future more

We spent one night here. Hotel was pretty rough and dirty. The whole thing had a weird smell on the inside and overtones of smoke in the halls and our room. Room was fairly visibly clean, but didn't feel clean. I was afraid of the bed, but slept on it anyways. The iron didn't work very well. There was no... more

We chose this place because it is pet-friendly but were not pleased. Our non-smoking room reeked of smoke and the chair and blanket had cigarette holes. The whole place is just run down, go elsewhere. more

I didn't realize until we checked in that they had confirmed a queen-size bed instead of the king-size I requested. There were absolutely no brochures or pamphlets of any kind in the lobby about local area attractions, of which there are many, including the Biltmore House. The hotel does not provide shampoo or hair dryers unless you request one, and... more

I had a much better stay with the Extended Stay this time then back in Dec. I met the 2 new Managers of the Hotel! These two are willing to make changes to this hotel as I could tell talking to them! The ROOMS are WAY MUCH cleaner then the last time I stayed there! I would tell everyone to... more

Friend and I planned a weekend trip to Asheville and thought that the Extended Stay would be a nice central location and a decent hotel. The location is excellent but the hotel needs quite a bit of work to bring it up to snuff. We paid about $100 a night and the first thing we found were two roaches in... more

This is the third Extended Stay I've been to. The others were great. This one was in pretty rough shape. I checked in at midnight. The front desk closes at 11:00PM so you have to call someone to open the door. The woman was friendly but clueless (and said so). I got my room key and checked out my room:... more

I was a bit concerned about staying here after reading the couple of negative reviews, but Asheville was booked solid for a Saturday night and the next best option would have been $100 more. I was surprised when we drove up to see a new looking building. The young lady at the front desk was extremely nice. I had phoned... more
