If you want clean, cheap, and quite this was a good buy. We were placed on the 3rd floor, NO problems. We did not eat the provided breakfast so can not speak on it. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Will use this hotel again. more

Just needed a cheap, easily accessible hotel for one night on our way to Myrtle Beach. Should have slept in the car! We checked in very, very late at night, and the desk clerk was very friendly and accomodating, but we could barely understand his English. Not his fault, I just hope he keeps working on it. We had several... more
Great stay for the money. Large rooms. Clean rooms with free wireless internet. Fridge and microwave in the rooms. Pay per view movies and HBO. Decent size parking lot but not super large. Just a few exits from the Biltmore and right off I-40. Lots of restaurants nearby. Grocery store also nearby if staying for longer times. Free breakfast in... more
Quiet and quite modern. Great king bed and a sofa. average breakfast but sufficient. Friendly staff. Lots of place to eat within short walk.......we ate at the Cracker Barrel next door and it was fine. Just off I 40 but the road in was a bit trickly to find. Would stay here again. more
We stayed two nights (Wednesday, Thursday) at this hotel while in town from Wisconsin for a concert at the Thomas Wolfe Auditorium. Check in was fine, but even though the staff saw we were from Wisconsin, they didn't seem too welcoming. No offering directions or even a simple "feel free to ask if you have any questions". Just "here's your... more
Friendly staff. Basic room. Good price. Reasonably quiet. Comfortable bed. Great location near 240 and 40 and 19/23. We reserved a non-smoking room, and was given one on the 3rd floor (the top floor), close to the elevator, but not too close as to hear it. For some reason, the hallway smelled heavily of cigarette smoke and that smell worked... more
I loved my room, especially at the price. It was better than many rooms I've paid for at triple the price. It is away from the center of town, but it doesn't take very long to get there by car. I would return again. more
This is a perfectly normal Comfort Inn. No charm, but a step up from Motel 6. We found the lowest price ($49.95/night) by calling directly & booking with AAA discount. Rooms are clean and not brand new or worn out. For some reason our room had no clock in it. The pay-per-view system is odd: you have to pick up... more
Stayed in Asheville over a weekend when my wife and I found ourselves without kids for the weekend. The darling teens were on a field trip, so we took advantage and headed to the mountains for a weekend getaway. The Comfort Inn West is a great value. It is clean and comfortable, with ample sized rooms. Rooms featured a tiny... more
i found this hotel to be clean and comfortable. i would definately recommend this to anyone who is looking for a comfortable place to stay in asheville. the breakfast was a nice touch, especially the waffle maker. this is not the marriott, so don't expect a marriott, nor is it "new"...but it is an above average comfort inn. more
