We stayed at the Haywood for the second time (first was a year ago) and this time brought along our teenagers. We were celebrating so we splurged for the Grand King Suite and adjoining Superior Queen for the teens. It was a fabulous set up with the sitting room between the two sleeping rooms. This hotel is the best location... More

This hotel is in a fantastic location, right in the heart of downtown Asheville. It's well worth the extra cost to be able to walk right out the door and into the action. Plus, the price includes lots of extras - free wifi, free breakfast, free parking, champagne at check-in, and nightly turn-down service with delicious chocolates. Who could ask... More

Had a double-booking situation at the ALOFT (wrote a negative review for them) and Haywood came to the rescue! we arrive to Asheville road weary on the first night of our honeymoon, dreaming of a soak in a big whirlpool tub, when we were told our reservations at ALOFT were overbooked. After scrambling to figure something out, biding our time... More

I stayed at the Haywood Park Hotel for 3 nights last week. I had booked the hotel online, choosing it mostly for its location. What a good choice it turned out to be! First, it's location is perfect - it's in the heart of the downtown action, within walking distance of many good restaurants, coffee shops and cute boutiques. To... More

The Haywood Park Hotel is such a treat! From the moment the friendly bell cap greets you, takes your bags and guides you past the player piano, you know you are in for a treat! After check in, you are given a complimentary champagne and then escorted to your room. As you get off the elevator the "voice" announces what... More

This is a great hotel for business travel to Asheville. You are right in the middle of the downtown. The rooms were huge and comfortable. The setting is unique given the history of the building. Only downside was spotty wifi.

My wife and I stayed at the Haywood and had a superior King suite facing the street. The noise was constant and into the night. If you are here to party all night then this would be a great central location, if you are here to sleep at night and site see during the day… find another hotel. The comp... More

We decided to stay in Asheville at the spur of the moment late in the afternoon yesterday, and decided to check out the Haywood. From the minute we checked in we where treated great! A free upgrade to a suite, a free glass of champagne, and kind and courteous service from Ed behind the desk and the nice lady that... More

My husband and I have been coming to Asheville a couple times a year for about 10 years now, but we'd never stayed at the Haywood Park Hotel before. It'd always been out of our price range, so we usually opted for the Renaissance or, in more recent years, the Indigo. This time, though, we were coming into town in... More

The Haywood is the perfect location for Asheville downtown. We walked everywhere and enjoyed the shopping, food, music and people watching:) The hotel suite was perfect for us. The room is very spacious and had a couch area...my husband and I even did a crossfit video in the room! I was disappointed we couldn't get room service for breakfast but... More
