Stayed one night at the Rodeway Inn in Gunnison while visiting the Black Canyon National Park over Labor Day weekend. Selected it based on good reviews. Staff was very nice; check-in easy. This is my first experience with "Rodeway Inns". Believe this may be an older property, but room was very clean and comfortable and a great value for that... more

This is our 2nd time to stay here and if we come again next year we'll do it again. It is right outside of town but it is quiet. The staff is gracious again and very accomodating. The rooms are clean (as usual) and they are motorcycle friendly. We met many people riding their bikes over the 3 nights we... more

I travel by auto for business, and reserved ahead here to save the company on travel expenses. I was greeted by hosts Andrew and Margaret. A kind and caring couple that obviously have put a lot of money and effort into this roadside, drive-up hotel. Rooms are all down and out, with easy access to my vehicle for stuff. Powerstrip... more

Usually a motel does not offer the staff courtesy I've found at this Rodeway Inn. It was booked on the internet and it has been a nice surprise. We've found a clean, spacious and very well kept room, a good breakfast, and especially a very good and nice staff. The motel offers standard amenities, no bad surprises, I would recommend... more

I went to visit Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park and the Curecanti National Recreation Area with my family and needed a place to rest for the night. This hotel was right of the highway and near the recreation area. The rooms were clean and very spacious. The owner is very friendly. My wife is very picky and the... more

We were on a two-week road trip on our motorcycle and this was one of many hotels along the way. First off, the owners are very, very nice and accommodating. The room was very clean, which is one of my top priorities - clean room and clean sheets. For the free breakfast, the owner was attending to the breakfast area... more

This is by far the best motel I've ever come across. It's very, very, very clean, everything looks new and well maintained, the owners are very nice and friendly people, and they even have heated floors in the bathroom! There's a hot tub and the breakfast is one some hotels could learn from: lots of pastries, cereals and make-your-own-waffles. more

If you're looking for a cute, clean, friendly place to stay in Gunnison, take a look at the Rodeway Inn. The couple that owns and runs this location are very nice people. The rooms are simple but comfortable. The hotel is a little bit west of Gunnison. It's a quiet location with plenty of parking. I enjoyed my stay! more
