Clean, family run property. Wifi didn't work the entire time we were there. Quite frankly, the excuses for the outage were pretty lame. Breakfast was ok. You could tell the innkeeper tried her best to put out a good selection. The rooms were clean albeit a little outdated. Pretty much what you'd expect for a 1 and 1/2 star property.... More

Clean, comfortable and well maintained room. The breakfast was great and enjoyed by guests! Great atmosphere. Our check in was a bit confusing because another guest staying the same weekend had the same name, but this generated conversation with the owner. Would definitely go back again.

Arrived earlier than planned and stopped in anyway. 3 rings of the front desk bell and then we had to go find someone. He did Check us in but said the room wouldn't be ready until 2:30. Came back at 3:25 and the room was being cleaned. Waited that out. Room is comfy, clean, and quiet. I don't have high... More

Going in, I have to admit that I had low expectations for this hotel. Great reviews, but being used to corporate accommodations in larger cities, I was skeptical. Boy was I surprised; the young couple who own the Alpine Inn could teach the "big boys" a thing or two about running a hotel! This little family-run inn ranked amongst the... More

My wife and I stayed here as we traveled through CO on a week long motorcycle vacation. Although not downtown (if that's what you're looking for), The Alpine Inn is in a pretty good location on the west side of Gunnison. Check-in was fast and painless, the rooms were very clean, comfortable and up to date, the amenities were good,... More

This hotel is one that my family and I have been visiting for several years now. The office staff and hotel staff in general are all very nice and very helpful, throughout our years of staying here they have always gone out of their way to make sure our stay is excellent, and the hotel itself goes above and beyond... I stayed last week and we all loved it. Very friendly staff (I believe she was the owner), clean room, quality sheets. Breakfast was very good with gravy and biscuits, waffle, eggs, fruits, yogurt and a lot more. I'd definitely stay there when I go that way.

Desk clerk charged us higher than the advertised rate. When we asked for AARP discount, he charged us $10 more. We confronted him and his exact words were, "I have to make money somehow." Overall appearance was neat and clean, but I encourage travelers to look elsewhere.

This place was very nice. The room was very clean and beautiful. The beds were comfortable, and the sheets were very nice and clean. Same with the towels, the bathtub, it was all spotlessly clean! The pool area was nice and looked very clean as well. The staff was really nice and friendly and they had a cute little dog... More
