First off, I generally don't write reviews but I just can't say enough about the owners, Teresa and John. They really helped me out in a tough situation. They are awesome hosts and will always take care of you. The hotel is very nice for it's class and well maintained. I believe they are getting new beds and carpet among... More

Stayed multiple nights. Clean room with nice beds. Good hot breakfast and wonderful hosts that helped us when ever possible. We stayed with a number of other couples and the hosts let us use the breakfast area for our impromptu to happy hour. Will defiantly stay again

Wife and I stayed one night on a trip through Gunnison. Was recommended by some friends and found it to be as described. It is a good basic place to stay at a reasonable price. Thought the bed was good, certainly slept well on it. The room was fine, wifi worked well. Room was clean and smelled clean. Breakfast was... More

Certainly nothing to write home about but was still a decent night's sleep. Downstairs rooms are very noisy when heavier folks are above you. Decent breakfast and very friendly staff willing to help in any way they can. Pool was decent. Overall an average hotel.

We stayed one night here while seeing the Black Canyon and the Gunnison Observatory. It was good. Reasonably clean (our room was excellently clean) and the morning breakfast was quite good as far as hotel breakfasts go (some fruit, raisin bran cereal and boiled eggs - for the more healthy items which I always look for). We were glad to... More

My two daughters and I stay one night for a swim meet. The owners were very nice and made our stay enjoyable. I paid $89 for the night and it was reasonable for the area considering other places were running around $120 or more. The room was clean and clean smelling. We had everything we needed for a nights stay.... More

We had to stay in Gunnison due to a bad rainstorm that slowed our travel plans. We were very fortunate to find a room at the Alpine at 10pm that night. We were warmly greeted, pleased with all of the amenities, and will look for an excuse to stay here again. The rooms are large, the beds are comfy, the... More

I picked this property because of the price which was very reasonable. The room was just fine and had a minifrig which was very handy. Breakfast was minimal at best. Free wifi is a plus as was ceiling fan. Towels are very cheap and thin. The owners were nice.

Not sure what the other reviewers are smoking. It is a cheap hotel - 1 to 2 star at best. Beds are like sleeping on plywood with springs underneath. TV's are Tube - time to upgrade. Free internet is one saving grace. Gunnison certainly has to have a better place to stay.
