Some of the Best Views we had on an eleven day trip; Best Dinner we had in Colorado without a doubt, this guy can cook! One of the most interesting Inn Keepers I have encountered from life as a State Trooper, Construction work, Chef, to Inn Keeper, Scott is engaging and interesting, one reason I like B&B's. The directions from... More

Beautiful home with spectacular views. Scott is a wonderful host who makes delicious and very generous meals. Reece, the chocolate lab is an added bonus. Do yourself a favor, go to this unique and special bed and breakfast.

This place is a gem. Make your way up this charming mountain and check into relaxation. Scott is a great host, cooks delicious meals and made our mountain retreat one to remember. From gazing at the majestic sky from the deck at night to having coffee in the great room in the morning while taking in the views, Sawtooth Mountain... More

My wife and I spent two nights in August at Sawtooth Mountain and had a wonderful time. Stayed in "Beau's Room," which is spacious, comfortable, and private. Scott and Reese (chocolate lab) were the most accommodating hosts, and the dinner Scott made us was incredible. We would go back in a heartbeat!

If you are looking for an "off the beaten path" private mountain getaway, then Sawtooth Mountain B&B is the place for you. The owner and chef, Scott Hitchens, has with master craftsmanship created a beautiful mountain home that he has opened to guests. Scott and his dog, Reese, are quick to make you feel at home. He serves savory meals,... More

My husband and I stayed at the beautiful, remote Sawtooth Mountain Lodge back in June, & I apologize to Scott for our late review! If I were to be terse in words, I'd simply say...We LOVED it! However, that would not do justice to the fabulous experience Scott so carefully crafts for his guests. The drive out is an experience... More

Not much I can add to the other exemplary reviews. My wife and I stayed 2 nights and relaxed and hiked in the national forest. Breakfast both mornings was excellent and our private dinner overlooking the awesome scenery was memorable. This is the quietest place I've ever stayed and the bed was just exquisitely comfortably. Scott and his trusty dog... More

The first night we were treated to a beautiful complete rainbow framing the mountains in the distance and the visit continued up from there. We enjoyed being pampered with delicious food, comfortable accommodations, good company and quiet beyond belief. Visiting the wildflower festival and the Black Canyon National Park added highlights to our trip. Scott gave us tips that made... More

From the moment we arrived with the beautiful views to the time that we left, our trip was incredible! The B&B set up on a Ridge and looked out over the valley with mountains in the background. My husband and I were treated to delicious breakfasts and chose to stay in at night and had Scott cook for us. His... More

My husband and I stayed here for 1 night on our way to Telluride. I was a bit concerned about it's remoteness, especially about 5 miles into the dirt road to the lodge. Once we arrived we were overwhelmed with the beauty of the property. Scott greeted us at the front door and as he welcomed us into the living... More
