Planned a couple days of fishing on the Horn with friends from college. Shelly was outstanding about accommodating us. We planned on 3 of us but changed to 4 last minute and Angler was great about making the change okay. Loved the Keurig machine coffee in the morning. Simple. Clean, big TV and comfortable beds. All we needed. We will... More

Big Horn anger provides the best fly fishing experience a person could hope for. A great staff clean rooms and awesome food complement a perfect Big Horn River experience. The guides on the Big Horn are the best on the river! I would highly recommend choosing the Big Horn angler fly shop as your place to stay for Big Horn... More

We have stayed here a few times over the years. Our most recent stay was in one of the 3 bed lodge rooms. It had 3 single beds that were very comfortable with a/c which is a huge plus in the summertime. There is free wifi as well as a coffee and water station in a common area. If your... More

This lodge is 1:45 hours from Billings. Cell coverage for only one carrier (Verizon?). Very comfortable rooms adjacent to a top notch fly shop. And the fishing? It's the Bighorn, dude. It is always awesome. Satellite t.v. is good, be forewarned, food options are a cafe across the street for decent burgers and service without a smile, and a higher... More

I have stayed at the BigHorn Angler for the past two seasons after fishing all over Montana. I won't be going anyplace else. The rooms are clean and very comfortable and an excellent value for your dollar. The fishing was incredible! I took my girlfriend there who had never fly fished before and in two days of fishing she caught... More

the stay exceeded all expectations....after a hard long day on the river, all i wanted was a clean room, cable TV and a complete fly shop. the computer and continental breakfast were icing on the cake....please remember to bring a pile of food and drinks because Ft Smith is not exactly a paragon of gourmet dining....if into alcohol, you bring... Booked an all inclusive 3 day, 4 night package with this property and am really glad I did. Dave as a guide was top notch, very patient and knowledgeable. Collette made fantastic breakfast and lunches and I am sure I gained some weight on this trip even with the exertion of hauling browns and bows into the boat for 3... More

Pete and Steve have done a nice job in refreshing this place. Great guides in David and Jim and Colleen was awesome in the kitchen. Relaxing, comfortable, fairly priced location on the Bighorn. Fishing was excellent for both browns and bows Will be back again!

The bighorn angler is now under new ownership. All rooms have been remodeled. It's a great place to stay if your not looking for anything too fancy. It's clean with a grill for cooking. Also a great fly shop and boat shuttle. Great advice for us Mid Western fishermen. If your looking for an inexpensive place for fishing the Bighorn... More

The place is undergoing ownership change. Right now the rooms suck. Hopefully the new owners will spend some money and fix the place up a little. It is the cheapest place to stay for a reason. Food is good and the guide service is great.
