I travel to Beaumont at least once a month for business and chose this hotel as my "home away from home" because it seemed to be the newest in the area. I've stayed here on several occasions and was initially quite satisfied, primarily due to the newness and cleanliness of the rooms. However, no amount of sparkle can compensate for the terrible experience of my most recent trip.

I was rushing to leave the room for a meeting in the next town. As I always do, I removed my engagement ring to apply lotion to my hands and set it on the counter. As I was rubbing it in, my cell phone rang, I hopped on my laptop to take care of some issues, then headed out the door. When I realized I'd left the ring on the counter, I called the hotel to make sure housekeeping turned it in. To my horror, I was told that housekeeping had already cleaned the room, and they did NOT turn it in.
