I guess we have been spoiled by many of the other Hampton Inns across the US. This hotel was not up to par in many ways. The rooms were small, not very clean, old and not well maintained. This was a random reservation- I made it an hour before I arrived driving through Texas. The location is honestly not that great. It is right on the frontage road for I-10, and aside from two or three restaurants, nothing is in walking distance. That being said, it was easy to find and easy to get in and out of.... More

Just ok for the price. Clean rooms. Key trouble to the point of being frustrating. TV needs updating. Takes forever to work through the channels. Typical fresh out of the freezer breakfast. Expensive for what you get. More

Like most Hamptons, the rooms were clean and the bed is comfy. I did have a few minor problems; iron leaked, blow dryer quit and a couple other things. The staff fixed the iron and blow dryer immediately and the other problems the next day. Pretty good service. More

The staff is doing the best they can, BUT this hotel, or, at least our room was very poorly insulated. Not something we usually find at a Hampton.. The TV was one of those "just try to figure out how it works" Phillips TVs. I had really thought those were long gone... They should be! More

In many ways this is a typical Hampton Inn although breakfast is a bit nicer thanks to Amy and they have an evening reception with hot food and beer on weekdays.
