We stayed in one of the Roosevelt Cottages (not No. 103 which is apparently the blue Maritius of hotel rooms) are were very happy with the stay. We had quite a big thunderstorm while we were up in the mountains and the whole park lost electricity for over four hours. We did not mind since we could use or phone... More

IF you expect a lot for $150+ a night then this isn't the place for you but.... IF no TV, no cell service, being in the middle of nowhere, and absolute silence is your thing then this is the place. Food is good and some say pricey but fair all things considered. WiFi is a JOKE (usable approx 5mins in... More

i went to big ben in july. I didnt want to sleep in a tent or an rv so chisos mountain lodge was the only other option if i wanted to stay in the park. it was a good decision. the rooms are fairly basic,no tvs or phones but they have refrigerators and balconies. there is wifi but it is... More

This was the perfect place if you want to be in the middle of the mountains but don't want to rough it in a tent. I was worried about bugs since it is in the middle of the outdoors but our room was very clean and I only saw one tiny bug the whole time we were there. Don't expect... More

We only stayed here for 1 night, and with the long journey through the park perhaps should have stayed longer! The reception area is good, with decent service - free wifi & a gift shop. Attached is a restaurant (we had breakfast) and bar area - both were fine. The rooms were a little basic but were secure, with parking... More

You don't go to the National Parks for a 5 star hotel stay. But a large room, king bed, clean bathroom, microwave, fridge, coffeemaker and incredible views? Well, that's what we got at Chisos Mountain Lodge. There are several different rooms available, a little pricey, but you are out in the middle of nowhere and this is central to everything... More

Keep in mind that Big Bend is a huge park and you will have to drive a long distance to get to border towns so be prepared. The lodge has a great staff and clean rooms. They try and limit water use so let them know if you can reuse bed sheets and towels for an extra day. The rooms... More

These rooms are pretty old. They are in good shape, and have great views, but are really small. They have free Wi-Fi, but it is really bad. There are no TV's in the room, that was OK with us. You can see so many stars at night. Just a short walk from "the Window" to view sunset. The scenery and... More

Stayed in Grand Lodge. Beds were good, clean and staff was very friendly! Little pricey at $154 a night for two double beds but the views were worth it! Breakfast was buffet only when the material showed a menu, so ask when you check in. Be sure to go to the Hot Springs in the Park but don't take valuables... More

This is a great place to view, relax, or hike the area. The room was ok. It was clean, no foul odors, and the beds were comfy. Beds were doubles. They need queens, but there isn't room. Frig and microwave is provided. If you go out on the back porch, take your key. The door will lock behind you! Our... More
