I have stayed twice @ the Midtown Motel , in La Junta, Colo. The 1st, to get a train out to Los angeles. It being less than 4 blocks from the La Junta, Amtrak Station. Located 2 blocks of of noisy Hyw 50. The rest was supberb. Rooms are nicely appointed. Hating the 'very weak 'in room coffee, they provide... More

My husband and I stayed here several years ago as it is very close to my Dad's house. My sister & I stayed here recently as I had such a great experience years ago. The ownership has changed in that time, but the service and cleanliness has not. We were extremely pleased with our stay. Very comfortable, quiet, and close... More

We enjoyed our stay at the Midtown Motel and would definitely recommend it to anyone spending a night in Rocky Ford. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom functional and updated. Quiet, too. Not a high-end motel, but definitely a good buy for a short stay in a small town.

Picked this motel after reading TripAdvisor reviews and was not disappointed. This is a basic but clean and well maintained locally owned motel. The manager was very friendly and helpful. It is in a good location, a block off the main highway and a short drive from restaurants in town center. My only complaint was that the bed was kind... More

Thank you for staying with us. We actually have different room types with queen and king-sized beds as well and we'd be more than happy to show you what we have next time you stop through town. Thank you again for your kind words and support for small business. It means a lot. More

Glad I picked the Midtown! Needed something clean, quiet, and well priced. The staff went out of their way in a time where customer service seems to be disappearing. Would stay here again, no problem!!

This is a good place for a basic motel in a quiet neighborhood in La Junta. We arrived by Amtrak and could walk the four or five blocks from the station to the motel. The room was large--queen bed and two comfortable chairs. The management was helpful...even offering to drive us to the train station the next morning. Overall, a... More

Was scheduled to umpire a baseball tournament, made reservations, but for unforeseen reasons was not able to umpire the games. Called to cancel the room, was told HAD to cancel on website. Informed them I would, but the room needed to be cancelled. Tried to cancel on their website, but it WOULD NOT ALLOW. Got charged for the room, they... More

Every hotel sells rooms online and sometimes 3rd party websites charge your card, sometimes they don't. It depends on which website you use to book the room. In fact, this guest was NEVER charged by us and if I'm wrong, I'll immediately issue a refund. However, priceline charged their card and if you book via that site, you also have... More

We needed a place to unwind each evening after each of our 6 days of holiday activities with our La Junta family. The Midtown was perfect, with really comfy beds, totally clean and well-supplied bathroom, the best TV channels and reception, easy-to-use coffee maker with delicious coffee in individual packets, and so quiet and peaceful that we said, "Let's just... We recently stayed three nights in La Junta in order to do some sightseeing, specifically the dinosaur tracks walk through Picketwire Canyon, and Bent's Old Fort. Both were outstanding! The Midtown is a mom and pop right on the main drag in La Junta. It's not new, but it definitely a good value, and the service is excellent. I would... More
