Rooms smelled like smoke, potholes all through the car park, 'breakfast' consisted of little sachets of milk and stale cereal. We arrived late one night and because our booking was screwed up and they had locked us out of our room! We couldn't get in for an hour because no-one was attending the desk. Truly, truly, a terrible place to... more

This place is a lie. They changed the name, it was formerly Quality Inn, and probably better. Internet is slow (if you can connect), poor breakfast, no laundry, potholes, sometimes smells smoke, noise, weird people, DEPRESSING. Don't come here, go anywhere else. more

I attempted to make an online reservation at this place but got an error-message for their apparently non-functional reservation site when I got to the last submit step. I never got a reservation confirmation so I ended up staying elsewhere in town (Best Western, which was much better than how Ashley looked from the outside). However, 3 days later my... more

The parking lot is shared with the Los Alamos Inn which is undergoing renovation so be on the lookout for killer potholes. The two lamps in the room didn't provide much lighting. The wall heater did not have the usual cool/heat buttons but just fan settings of low, medium and high. The temperature control, according to the panel on the... more

While The Ashley has very little to recomend it, it's clean, comfortable and cheap. Don't expect anything up to date. more

This hotel is nothing of what it used to be. I live in Los Alamos and have put up family here many times. It used to be a good value. It is now an embarrassment. Their website is not to be trusted as it is not kept up to date. Amenities are gone (including air conditioning and heating in some... more

The guidebook we had listed this place as a Quality Inn. I tend to think the Quailty Inn baled on these guys b/c of poor managment, but that's just a theory. The place looked a bit dreary on the outside, but I had called and reserved a cheap ($59/night) room with a king-size bed (thinking, of course, this was a... more

The town of Los Alamos doesn't have much in it and there are only a few hotels. This hotel was picked based on other trip advisor reviews and the website. Well, it looks nothing like the website. It was very shabby, the a/c was broken, but they gave us a small fan. Luckily, it was not very hot, even though... more

This hotel was terrible, nothing in rooms worked. Including the ac. With a temp of 75 outside, the heat was still on in the rooms, the temp in the room was 80. We are from Florida and used to the heat but this is just unreasonable. We opened the windows only to find no screens and cracked windows. The room... more

This area offers very little in options, but this hotel represents the best value. Rooms include free breakfast and hi speed internet, which was important for me being that I had to work each evening. The staff was casual and friendly and didnt feel like I was a bother to them. Hotel within walking distance to only decent restaurant in... more
