We chose this hotel because of good reviews. I did not realize it was not near the business district of Los Alamos, so we drove several miles "out of town" to get there. As it turned out, this was a good choice for us because we planned to visit Bandolier National Monument the following day. The hotel was fine -... More

I have stayed here many times before and never had any major issues. Very convenient location if working at LANL. They always upgrade my room since I am a diamond member. There is an evening snack at 5pm Monday through Thursday which is nice.

When I get a non-smoking room, I expect to not smell smoke. I get migraines from smoke, so this is important to me. So when I smelled smoke in the bathroom (116) I wasn't happy. Despite having limited time in the morning, I packed up my things so they could move me to another room while I was gone during... More

The people in this small town are not always friendly -- it was after all "The Secret City." However, the Hampton Inn people are tops. They serve good breakfast and include guests as a courtesy. We will return regularly. One complaint: We would like their attention paid to a bad sidewalk feature that caused one bad fall and almost two... More

I have stayed at the hotel about seven times. It is nice clean Hampton Inn in Los Alamos. The people that work at the hotel are always friendly. If you are going to Bandalier it is in a good location.

On the way to Bandelier from Los Alamos, this is the perfect kicking-off point for an early morning park visit. Comfortable and clean, the hotel is a typical Hampton Inn experience, with cookie cutter rooms; basic, high-carb, buffet breakfast; and low-key but friendly service. Noi restaurant, so I drove back up into Los Alamos and had a nice bite. Nothing... More

Relocated to Los Alamos for work and stayed here while waiting on household goods to arrive. Had a very pleasant stay for a week. The staff, breakfast and even an evening snack was exceptional. Clean, large and well maintained rooms.

Finally found our pre-booked hotel. Not in Los Alamos but 13 miles away in White . We were furious. According to the receptionist quite a lot of guests are. Absolute disgrace. Anyway got my revenge, voted with my feet and cancelled.

This hotel was very nice, but it's not really in Los Alamos proper. It's actually right across the street from Bandolier National Monument. That said, the room was very nice and had a fridge and the breakfast was very good. The wifi didn't work and seemed to be an ongoing issue. Smiths market in downtown Los Alamos is really a... More

We visit the area frequently, sometimes several times a year and have consistently found the staff very helpful and the rooms to be quiet, the beds very comfy. I recommend this Hampton Inn without reservation.
