The facilities were clean and well-kept. The staff was pleasant and helpful. My wife and I enjoyed our stay here, particularly after dealing with staff 'attitude problems' that are prevalent in other New Mexico hotels (poor service, rude, etc). This is a truly nice hotel and a good value. more

After visiting Bandelier NM my wife and I stayed a night in the Hampton Inn in White Rock. A three storey, standard hotel of the Hilton-branch. Rooms are quite large and clean. Bedding is good, noisy airco and a sqeecking elevator. Personel is polite and helpful. Breakfast is good value. Only White Rock is nothing at all. more

You can tell the building is a little older and the decor is a little older than other Hampton Inns but it was very clean and comfortable and had a great breakfast selection. The best part is that is right outside of Bandelier National Monument. Since it is in White Rock there isn't much choice for food but I would... more

This is the only hotel in a quiet area, White Rock, which is just outside Los Alamos. Our room was spotless and the staff very friendly. We were there to hike in Bandelier National Monument and attend the museums in Los Alamos. Get a burrito at El Parasol...so good! Pickins are slim near the hotel for meals, however, there is... more

I found the rates for the time we would be visiting to be well over $100 a night at this hotel, so checked the Hhonors point redemption level. This was a category one property, meaning only 10,000 points for a free night's stay. That was a no brainer. As for the hotel, this was as standard a Hampton Inn as... more

Room was o.k., nothing fancy. Had all the necessary amenities for a short stay. Bed was comfortable as all Hampton Inn's are and room was clean. The only problem was the shower head was on its last leg. Breakfast was good and offered many choices. Evening manager's special is o.k. but not as many food choices as the Homewood Suites... more

Hotel was super clean. Breakfast was fantastic. Good location for tourist. It is close to Bandelier and Valle Caldera. The only negative thing I have to say is that the front desk staff is not the most friendliest. more

While its not in Los Alamos, I preferred staying in White Rock. Closest hotel to Bandelier National Monument. Room was spotless, rate was good, staff (especially the breakfast lady) worked hard and it showed. This is not an old property and it was a great location to start or end a day at Bandelier. There's not much else out there... more

I am a hotel snob, a light sleeper, and anal when it comes to cleanliness. We picked this hotel because it was free (Hilton Honors points redemption). And we booked two adjoining rooms to accomodate our 3 children. So having said that, we were quite impressed. Extremely clean, everything seemed new (new paint/carpet smell), very quiet (mostly businessmen to Los... more

My husband and I stayed here for one night in September of 2006. Our room, a king with a fridge and microwave was very clean. The heating/cooling system was quiet. There is a convenient store nearby and a grocery store up the road. We stopped there and loaded up on snacks and drinks. There is a Pizza Hut right next... more
