Canyon Inn is clean, quiet, comfortable, and convenient. But since you are likely to be here because of your interest in science, history and Los Alamos' continuing role in scientific thought leadership, the real jewel is Ken, the proprietor of what is essentially the extra couple of rooms in their personal home.

This had to be the best bed and breakfast we've stayed in! Ken and Glenda were absolutely charming and so friendly. We really enjoyed talking to them. Our spacious room with attached bathroom was perfect. We were able to open the windows to enjoy the breeze and the view. Well-stocked kitchen for us to enjoy. Welcoming, cozy and comfortable says... I enjoyed 2 nights in room 3. It has a tub and faces the front. Even with the window open for fresh air the neighborhood is quiet. Not much is open in Los Alamos after 9 PM which makes the 24 hour kitchen here very nice. The owner Ken is a great host and very attentive to anything you request.... More

After and extended stay at the Canyon Inn in 2012, I would definitely recommend it to those looking for Los Alamos accommodations. The bed was very comfortable and clean. The sheets and linens were very nice. Bathrooms were very clean and updated a bit. In my opinion the Canyon Inn is a great alternative to the typical hotel experience. It... More

This is a great place to stay. We stay there every time we go to Los Alamos. Very comfortable rooms with private baths. A nice common area. Quiet. They provide breakfast but also allow room in the refrigerator for personal food. The kitchen is available for lunch and dinner and they even provide free access to a washer and dryer.... More

Our room was very comfortable and incredibly clean. Loved having access to the kitchen and being able to make our own breakfast when we were ready. Very friendly! Will definitely stay again.

Comfort beyond belief. Very clean & very personable. Only downside was the bathroom sink dripped. Wasn't sure how I'd feel about making my own breakfast, but it was nice...

If you want a place that feels like home rather than a motel...this is the place. The home is immacualte. Our king room was comfortable with nice linens. Free use of the kitchen for all meals and breakfast is provided. Ken and Glenda are gracious and nteresting hosts. They provide a lot of information about Los Alamos to make sight... More

Quite, very nicely appointed. Wonderful beds and linens. I liked just making my own breakfast. Ken is quite nice. Good location. The only down side is no off-street parking and the showers are quite small. Excellent value.

We stayed for a week and enjoyed the area, the B&B, our hosts, and the overall stay. The B&B is nice, and way above average. I would not change a thing. Our hosts even accommodated our grand-daughter staying in an adjoining room for a couple nights. Very nice!
