The North Road Inn is quite a nice place to stay with a small family. I was in town on a house-hunting trip with my husband and 3-year old daughter. It is difficult to stay in a single hotel room with a 3-year old sometimes, so we opted for a 2-bedroom suite with kitchenette. It was very spacious and perfect... more

North Road Inn has long been a home-away-from home for my Laboratory co-authors, older family members, and my husband and myself. North Road Inn is a great value for the money and the place to stay in town for those with environmental sensitivities. Cathy, the proprietor, uses appropriate cleaning products and the Inn is old enough to have out gassed.... more

I am very familiar with this area, so I didn't have any preconceived ideas about choices and availability for lodging. The North Road Inn is probably the best deal in the area for your money. If you are in need of a very clean and comfortable place to stay with amenities such as breakfast, TV, phone, wireless and/or kitchenette (complete... more

We stayed five nights and had a 3 bedroom suite with a full kitchen, sinks in 2 of the bedrooms, private entrance with parking right outside the door. The building was old and in need of some aesthetic repairs but it was very clean, quiet, and very comfortable! The owner, Cathy, was very gracious and helpful. She gave us directions... more

After 4 nights of staying in mid priced hotels, arriving at Cathy's place was like coming home! My room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a treat and everyone was very friendly. I plan to make the North Road Inn my home base on next year's trip to New Mexico. more

Horrible government housing with no remodeling since the 70s. Door doesn't close or come close to locking due to AC ventilation. Deck is old and gives splinters. Cathy (owner) is rude and breakfast is not what it was cracked up to be. more

Don't believe the beautiful pictures on the website. This place hasn't been updated, modernized, or hardly even maintained since Carter was president. Remember that old apartment you had during college, with the odd collection of junky furniture, stained carpets, AC unit cockeyed in the back door, and the funny smell? If you remember it fondly and wish to relive those... more

I grew up in Los Alamos and go back to visit, so I have stayed in a number of places over the years. This is by far, the best place I've stayed. I was traveling with my brother, and we chose the North road Inn because we could get a two room suite for much less than one single hotel... more

This is a tough one to review. And understand that despite it's faults, I'd stay here again. I love Homewood Suites, but I couldn't afford it on this trip, so I chose the two bedroom suite at North Road at a more affordable price. We had four rooms for the price of one regular hotel room. This is a tough... more

An extremely friendly place with nice cozy rooms, uncomplicated internet access and a great family atmosphere. The cooked breakfast was extremely good and offered a variety of options. more
