This place is what it is, a budget inn. There is no pool, no television, or wifi. If your purpose is for hiking with minimal necessities then this is the place. Does have a comfy large king bed, a mini fridge and a coffee maker with coffee. The sign just down the highway road from the inn is population 79... More

This was a nice, clean little motel. No tv's but that was ok with us, we only stayed one night on our way to the black hills. Nice views of the badlands. There were chairs outside but it was too chilly to sit out there.

I arrived here wanting to camp in the park, but it was sleeting and the temperature dropping fast to high 30s. Did I mention I was on a motorbike? I checked into the Budget Host for $58 per night for a double queen room. The owner was friendly. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The room was cleaned... More

Old style motel with adjoining camp site. Motel rooms need updating but were clean. Towels thin and bedding dated but we slept well. No food on site, no TV, no hairdryer but hardly unexpected for $67 on the edge of this stunning National Park. There is nothing in Interior so the only food is back into the park at the... More

This hotel is just outside the badlands parks. The room was clean and comfortable. There are not many choices in the area, if you are there late. You have to take what you get, but this motel is worth. Great to sit outside at night, no light pollution for star watching.

We called to make a reservation and let them know we will be late and they told us the room number and that we can take car of our account in the morning. We were very happy with this place. It's not a fancy hotel but it made our stay very pleasant. The 5 dollar breakfast was very good and... More

This hotel is perfect for our family of 5 (kids 9, 8, and 6) after driving all day and checking out the badlands. The Inn is older, but extremely clean. The beds where comfortable, it had a mini fridge and even a pull-out bed for our 3rd child. They had a pool and playground that brought me back to my... More

I was apprehensive based on some poor reviews, but this place is amazing. It reminds me of the sort of motel I grew up going to when my dad went fishing. Its a private, family ran business. The people are really nice. It has the basics, but no T.V. or phone. Who needs a T.V. when you have spectacular views?... More

We came here because the campground in the national park was full. This is only a couple of miles from the national park campground but is less crowded and has argueably better views and tent camping environment for less money. Plus hot showers are available. The setting is beautiful and wind/ sun shelter structures are available if you wish to... More

The bad: - carpet had not been vacuumed prior to us checking in. Sunflower seeds all over floor. - no TV. Did not know this prior to booking, just assumed there would be one. Not a big deal though. - housekeeping never made our beds or vacuumed. Just changed garbage and towels. Sunflower seeds still there 3 days later when... More
