This is a great resting place to land if you are coming from the East and looking for a place to stop and spend the night. They offer cabins (which are dressed up trailers). camps sites, rv sites. Good hospitality with a community fire pit. I was a little disappointed when I planned on horse back riding and confirmed over... more

Genuine Hospitality and Unmatched Scenery is how we describe our stay at the resort with Jacob and Judy. We travel throughout the United States in our motor home and this was, without question, a most pleasant surprise. We befriended the owners and several others staying at the park. This was made easy by the way Jake and Judy (owners) created... more

We had reserved the "honeymoon suite" (we're not campers, nor newlyweds), but we reserved it because it seemed to be the biggest. When we arrived we were greeted with minimal courtesy. I showed our reservation confirmation and were told to 'just drive to the house.' When I asked where it was, I was told: "just down the road." That was... more

First off do not expect luxury for an $80 a night cabin, in fact do not expect luxury anywhere in the Badlands. If this is you, then skip the Badlands all together. True to its name and savage landscape, the Badlands is primitive and in tune with nature. The cabins are rustic but cozy. Each have a small refrigerator, a... more

Please do yourself a favor and don't stay here. There were 3 of us in our party. We reserved a cabin with a double bed and bunkbeds. The cabin is unbelievably small. Three of us couldn't stand up in there at the same time. The double bed is in a super small room about 1 foot away from the bathroom,... more

We recently stayed at the Badlands Ranch and Resort and had alot of fun. The cabins were fine, but I couldn't rate them above average. We slept well and enjoyed being out in the Badlands. We had a great experience with Mark and Candace who were very friendly and helpful. The owner himself was not that friendly and could learn... more

There's no place like home----unless it's The Badlands Ranch and Resort!!!!! We spent 12 nites in our RV here and really loved it!! It's just a comfortable place to be!! The owners and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Don't miss their Trail Ride---the Wrangler clearly loves his job and where he is, beautiful, calm horses and the views are... more

We had cabin #6, and it was awful. From the moment we stepped in the rickety front door and had our nostrils assaulted by a mothball smell, we knew this place was trouble. The TV didn't work, the shower was dank, and the twin beds were dumpy. Overall, the property was junky and neglected-looking, with piles of garbage on the... more

The Badlands Ranch and Resort is definitely the place to stay when visiting the Badlands. We stayed in a small cabin with a full size bed and bunk beds. They each have their own room, yet no door separates them. There is a small bathroom with a shower. A fridge, microwave and satellite Tv were also provided. Our son loved... more

This place is a combo RV park % traditional lodging. We stayed in one of the cabins (the "motel" rooms are really small). Our cabin had a doule, twin, and bunk beds. Shower and bathroom were OK. Window unit AC helped with the 98 degree heat. Met several freindly people there. Recomend the horse riding trip. Very beautiful scenery. Nice... more
