We spent two nights at this KOA located just south of the Badlands National Park. The site was nicely shaded, and laid out nicely. The personnel as with the KOA's we have visited on this trip were super nice and accommodating. The site was level and hook ups were fine. The campground was right by the White River, and the... Fantastic sites, spacious and easy to get into. Large and very well kept campground! Loved the dog park, large and the only place that has had a fence tall enough for my "fence jumper" dog. When we pulled in my husband insisted to me that this must be a pretty new campground. I said I did not think it was,... More

We stayed here for three nights at the deluxe RV site. It was a very nice site and was huge, the down side to this specific site is despite management posting rules not to, rude people with no camping etiquette will cut right through the site. I actually woke up to someone walking right outside our camper door. They cut... More

We absolutely loved the Badlands/White River KOA! We kept relating to it after we left and stayed at another KOA in the Black Hills. We originally had booked a stay in the actual Badlands park. I was so concerned because there weren't trees there and you couldn't have campfires. It seemed so barren. My husband discovered the KOA and I... More

This is a great little KOA, beautiful surroundings and just downright nice folks. Site spaces are decent and the owners have chickens and geese and fee them a couple times a day. This is all fenced in but kids may enjoy watching them. The area around the campground is drop dead gorgeous. I highly recommend this place.

The setting is beautiful, the campgrounds were well maintained, SPOTLESS, had spacious RV sites, and had a lot of accommodations (like a nice dog run). My kids had a blast pedaling around in the bikes available for rent and splashing in the pool. Seriously, about the cleanliness thing...even the lint traps in the dryer were pristine. The owners take very... More

We stayed 2 nights in a hybrid camper. The staff was friendly and helpful. They offered a nice breakfast selection at reasonable price if you don't want to cook or clean up your mess. This KOA was about 5 miles to the Badlands. Perfect location. They had wifi, cable with only a few channels. Pool was nice. Showers were clean.... More

Loved the location of this campground. Near the Badlands, but off the beaten path a bit. The night sky was great for star-gazing. Woken with the sounds of coyotes howling in the night :-) And at morning birds chirping and turkeys calling. GREAT! Staff was incredibly friendly. Items in store were not outlandishly priced. Kids love the campground and the... More

This was out second stay at this campground. We stayed in a deluxe cabin and loved it. The cabin was so clean including the bathroom. The staff at the front desk very nice and helpful. The location has a nice clean pool and playground for kids, it also has rental bikes and put-put golf for extra $. We had a... More
